    After years of lurking and very occasional comments, I will just say that Lily is the total queen – she makes and breaks my heart – because she is so lovely, but is not immortal. You have worked so hard to keep her alive, with help from jackals. It is so lovely to see posts with her photos – thank you. And then back to the mayhem …

    In fact, since this is supposed to be a full service blog, I demand a remote bird video cam so we (loyal commenters) can watch cute birdies moving around in real time. Then we don’t have to worry about Cole falling over and breaking his damned legs or squashing the nest when he tries get some damned pic, or some similar catastrophe.

    I will chip in for BJ Blog remote video cam system, so Cole can post videos while sitting in his comfy easy chair. By pressing buttons and similar shit.

    Read a blurb someplace that McConnell sent a bunch of GOPer Senators to WH to hector Trump into backing off Cain nomination. Looks like it worked. Which is good.
    But Moore, who is just as bad or worse than Cain, nomination still going through? Anyone know?
    Because Moore is a white male fraudster and incompetent, so that is OK?
    Cain working on regional Fed bank board of directors not really a qualification for a national Fed policy position, since regional board of directors mainly give advice on local business conditions for regional Fed operations. But Moore has never had a job that required him to do anything but spout whatever BS his paymaster wants him to say. Cain is almost totally unqualified, but Moore has less than zero qualifications.

    It goes without saying that every day is Pet Day. And that Charlie and Lily are the poster children thereof.
    As I live in the Museum of Cat Hair, I periodically put it outside loose by the bird-feeding stations so birds can use it for nests.

    @Skepticat: LOLOLOLOL i once lived in that Museum! 17 cats, all foundlings, multiple colors of fur and hair, it was GLORIOUS! I used to tell people I swept and dusted up at least another cat every week in shedded fuzz!
    I WAS THE CRAZY CAT LADY! Strangers just left the ynwsnted in my yard.
