Hey everyone. Been away for a bit. Took an Internet break, etc. My brother found a kitten while walking his dogs tonight. He took it in, fed it, and now has it in his bathroom. If there is anyone who wants a kitteh in the Charlotte NC area, please speak up. Totally black kitteh.

Question for you, TaMara….I remember some months ago you mentioned treating your aging kitty with CBD (oil or tincture?). My older kitty might benefit from CBD. If you have time to share your research into dosage, etc, I would really appreciate it. Miss Pearl doesn’t do treats or wet food, so I’m also curious how your kitty takes it in.

@BeautifulPlumage: I do a full spectrum CBD oil, and the woman who preps it locally, sells online, too. Another Jackal just order some from her.
It’s been interesting dosing her. She gets 10 drops once a day. The first couple of times it was difficult, but now she wants it, so even though I have to pick her up and pry open her mouth, she takes it easily. And I have been giving it to Gabe – and the same thing – the first couple of times it was difficult, but now he takes it easily.
It’s in a sunflower oil base, and I give it by dropper.
Go ahead and email me if you want more info. It has really helped Emma, her fur is beautiful again and she has fewer pancreatitis attacks.

Well, that twitter thread was both sad and uplifting at the same time. I’m way too old and the wrong type, but so many people were responding with such uplifting encouragement.
Thanks for providing such an old fashioned good group of people to see, very uplifting to see such good people, generous and giving for a little tyke they don’t even know yet. So sweet. Tears.
