The most amazing and terrible part of the impeachment discussion is that Ken Starr and Jonathan Turley, who led and cheerled Clinton’s impeachment, respectively, are now Trump’s biggest defenders. There is no present or future, only the past, happening over and over again.
Democrats in tough districts are showing a lot of guts right now in backing an impeachment inquiry. Let’s help them out with a little campaign money — the fund below is split among the 17 most endangered Dem incumbents.

Flip the Senate. GOP is corrupt as hell. https://twitter.com/angelina_n_ris/status/1177038293633884160
Vote them out.

Agreed. One more place to give; I favor this one just for the name:
Get Mitch or Die Trying.

@Patricia Kayden: The Senate is key. Moscow Mitch will continue to obstruct everything if he is still the majority leader.

Of course they are. Which tells you all you need to know about the intellectual and legal integrity of that whole charade back then…

The only thing I like about how all of this is a redux of the 90’s is that I have vague hope that in 10 years the entire movement will be reduced to Steven Miller yelling angrily on the internet.

I was thinking about Trump throwing Pence under the bus today – – advising reporters to look at Pence’s phone transcripts – – and was surprised at first. But then I realized that if they impeach Trump and Pence’s transcripts are worse, they may feel compelled to impeach Pence too. That would mean President Pelosi and no Republican would vote for that.
And I sent a thank you email to my congresswoman Luria, and kicked in a few dollars for her.

@cckids:
I just threw them some love. Our side really needs the Senate, and assuming we can get President Professor Warren we really need at least 52 Senators to allow for the appointment of a Republican as a temporary replacement by Gov. Baker, and to ensure Joe Fucking Manchin isn’t the deciding vote on progressive legislation.
