    This week, some Chick-fil-A customers got emails from the chain about celebrating National Sandwich Day. The annual celebration takes place on November 3, which falls on a Sunday this year.

    Chick-fil-A is famously closed on Sundays. So, on Thursday, the chicken chain emailed customers to apologize for their mistake. Source

    Also too, no Friday Food thread again?

    People were talking about Mayor Pete’s talk as being good — wow, they were wrong. I mean, it sounded good, but it was a bunch of one liners. I mean, he has clearly gotten his Obama enunciation down, but it just felt empty. Didn’t want to knock him, and of course if he somehow gets the nomination I’ll support him, but it was just meh.

    My s-i-l is a big Jayne fan, has the beanie and named his daughter(my totally awesome granddaughter) Vera. Which I am given to understand is the name given to one of Jane’s guns. (They have a beanie for Vera too)

    Listen to that news anchor laugh was wonderful. Such true joy.
