Roger J. Stone Jr., a former aide and longtime friend of President Trump, was found guilty on Friday of obstructing a congressional investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election in what prosecutors said was an effort to protect Mr. Trump.
Let’s try to hit our target today for the Balloon Juice House fund that is split among the seventeen most vulnerable House Dem incumbents. (You can divvy it out however you like to avoid getting on too many mailing lists.)

Jury found him guilty on all counts.
Including the one where Stone lied to Congress, which means trump’s official answers to Mueller’s Q&A aren’t truthful (quelle surprise), which should lead to another impeachment count.
They’re joking about how quickly trump will pardon Stone, but I doubt it. trump hasn’t pardoned Manafort, because of the risk of compelling testimony for future trials trump *will* face.
P.S. my hit song Stone In Jail lyrics, y’all

I know it’s an irrelevant comment but I can immediately tell an NYT piece by the antiquated system of naming people – not Roger Stone, but Roger J. Stone Jr., as if there’d be confusion – the same way the paper insists on Vladmir V. Putin, Robert S. Mueller III, Donald J. Trump…..Roger J. Smedley Swadley Puffenstuff Hickory Rainbow Diedelus Patsy Stone.

Can you fix the ActBlue title? It says “Baloon Juice”. (In a way, I think that’s actually an on-brand typo for this blog. Might even be some fine DougJ work.)
