    I didn’t think much about the implications of Pete being gay until I saw that video of that Iowa voter who was all set to vote for him until she learned he was gay.

    Now I think the pushback has hardly begun — the would-be pusher-backs are just waking up to Pete’s orientation.

    The other thing I’ve been wondering about is when those same people figure out that there are two candidates who are Jewish. Especially in this era when antisemites have been emboldened.

    @geg6: I like Pink.   When I was sitting the grand imp until he was six months, the local radio station would play Walk Me Home.   Once  when I arrived at my son’s I mentioned how much I liked that song.  Son said well don’t play it for Carter since we don’t think he’s ready for Pink.   I looked at my son and said he’s four months old

    People look at me funny when I remind them that Limbaugh has failed at literally everything he’s ever attempted in life – with the sadly notable exception of running his big fat fucking mouth. He (and we) learned there’s a robust market for that sort of thing in this country; the stoking (or fabrication) of grievances. Here’s hoping his final days are ones filled with fear and misery. Not sure he has the emotional maturity to work actual regret into that mix.

    Having grown up in during pretty homophobic times, the first few times I witnessed two men kissing definitely made me feel a bit uncomfortable. But, as with all things, with intellectual maturity and seeing it more frequently, I see no reason why anyone should be upset by such things. That this is apparently still a thing for Rush says something and something not good.

    In June 2006, Limbaugh was detained by drug enforcement agents at Palm Beach International Airport.

    Customs officials confiscated Viagra from Limbaugh’s luggage as he was returning from the Dominican Republic. The prescription was not in Limbaugh’s name.

    Anybody know if he’s still married to his 4th wife? I heard a while ago that he was having her followed so he could prove she was cheating on him.

    In the meantime, Pete and Chasten, Barack and MIchelle, Joe and Jill, and many others are there to show him how marriage is supposed to work … if he lives long enough to be instructed. Here’s to lingering agony, Rush. Many of us are looking forward to spitting on your grave.

    Some Iowa ledislators want to make it illegal for teachers to discuss Pete’s sexual orientation.  Comments have been choice:  How do teachers keep students off the internet?  Is one that seems succinct at defining the “logic” of protecting kids.

    Of course it’s time honored wisdom that gays have to recruit kids – prey on innocent youth – defile our precious children, etc.  Most LGBT were praying for someone, anyone, to “recruit them”.  A friend back in the 70’s from NYC heard that lesbians wore black tights and lurked in the park.  Guess where she was the next week in a singlet…
