His enablers in Washington may have chosen to betray their oath of impartial justice and cover up his abuses of power, but the fact remains: The President is impeached forever. Period.
His final verdict is coming in November – from #CA12 and all across America. pic.twitter.com/UxJ2CNU7hP

*relentlessly mocks Pelosi for not impeaching Trump, and when she does, relentlessly mocks her for Chuck Schumer’s failure to flip Senator”
why doesn’t she want to impeach the attorney general, which I just googled is possible https://t.co/7xVpFAGimk

In 2018, the House, led by “centrist” Nancy Pelosi, picked up the most seats in a generation, winning 41 GOP-held seats for a net gain of 39 seats. Many of those GOP seats were won by … wait for it … centrists in swing districts in red states. ????? https://t.co/v3iTb3YWz5

I don’t hear any music.
On the one hand, I can see how going after every lie from Cabinet
official of this administration would be an endless task. However, should lying Cabinet officials somehow be punished for lying?
Repeating from below, as this is a more generalized thread. Short notice TCM note.
Tuesday at 6 a.m. Eastern, The Green Goddess. Dated as hell along with being painfully paced, with a plot that was creaky when Methuselah was in diapers. The reason to watch is George Arliss plying his trade in his inaugural movie. The theatricality he projects as The Raja offsets the stilted and wooden delivery of his fellow actors and he steals every bit of every scene he’s in through sheer force of will and ebullience of style. Plus later on in the film he gets to strut about wearing one the coolest looking set of robes ever. Also it’s a prime example of the floundering which beset Hollywood in transitioning from silents and incorporating sound.
Pelosi shouldn’t go after all of them true. But she absolutely go after Barr. The man is a danger to the republic and a traitor to the Constitution. I’m laying money that he won’t testify to the House on March 31st under any circumstance.
Then how about some
David ??Merry Christmas?? Koch
Meanwhile, Bernie was 0-22 in 2018 congressional elections. Ironically and tellingly he refused to endorse Socialist AOC during her primary.
Oh he’ll show up. The entirety of his testimony shall be as follows:
“I cannot speak regarding ongoing investigations.”
they REALLY have to keep digging. getting facts in the news to feed the ‘independents’ anything other than the puke-funnel of lies that’s gonna be aimed at them might be the ONLY thing that saves us in november.
@NotMax: I guess we’ll see in that regard. Holding my breath, I am not.
Does she have the votes for Barr?
And how will the electorate react in the swing states?
@gwangung: I see it as hinging on the public’s reaction. I feel that if public support for such a move becomes massive, Nancy Smash!
That Spielberg guy is remarkably obtuse about how elections work.
@smike: she wasn’t going to impeach drumpf either…..until she did.
Investigations and gathering evidence quietly first has it’s advantages.
Oh FTF NY Times. You be you. Yet another article about how Trump admin people cannot get dates, this one occasioned by some lucky rightwinging girl marrying Stephen Miller.
Mags Haberman did not write this one; Katie Rogers (“a White House correspondent in the Washington bureau, covering the cultural impact of the Trump administration on the nation’s capital and beyond”) did. Leftovers, leftovers.
Young, Conservative and Working for Trump? The Dating Pool Is Small
Washington’s highly politicized culture can be brutal on dating life. For Trump aides, one solution is to find love with each other.
Biggest news in this article is that bride and groom Miller are the victims of all this polarization.
“The wedding details, shared in increments by the bride to reporters over the past few months, illustrate what it meant for one notorious Trump aide to get married in a heavily Democratic town [thugs!] where the mere sight of him is known to create angry confrontations.
They hired security. Wedding invitations contained a card detailing the couple’s privacy requests. The registry was created under a fake name. Invited friends who might bring unruly partisans as their guests to the wedding were screened.
In the end, the nuptials were stocked with Trump administration officials, including Mr. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and the people who love the couple.” [None of whom is named.]
And, even better, that Trumpsters are getting screened out on dating apps.
Jim, Foolish Literalist
@randy khan: a lot of the children seem to think AOC and The Squad won some kind of national election and dragged Abigail Spanberger and Conor Lamb along in their wake
@Jim, Foolish Literalist:
Lots of tall children running around
(Also, way too many progressives aim at elected officials, and not at the grassroots voters who put them into power).
I wonder if Mr. Spielberg could provide a recent example of a left fringe candidate who has won anything outside of a deep blue district or state.

I’d say he’s being a deliberately obtuse purity pony.
After all, ideological purity is far more important than actually accomplishing anything.
<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>This is pretty huge: The 1,100 member Federal Judges Association has called an emergency meeting Tuesday to address urgent concerns about Trump & DOJ officials interfering in politically sensitive cases, including Roger Stone’s sentencing.<a href=”https://t.co/rBzOMeyPr2″>https://t.co/rBzOMeyPr2</a></p>— Caroline Orr (@RVAwonk) <a href=”https://twitter.com/RVAwonk/status/1229592942530224128?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>February 18, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src=”https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>
@Darrin Ziliak (formerly glocksman): Ewwww to all you adults who will settle for half a loaf instead of two loaves baked by artisan hipster bakers living off their daddies’ trust funds who grew the wheat themselves by hand.
Just heard about this on my local TV news:
Yeah, only 10% is RT propaganda, stupid libs!
@mrmoshpotato: I know, so IMPURE!
@Jim, Foolish Literalist: I’m sure they will be a lot more pleasant once Bernie wins the nomination.
Shouldn’t that be service mini-horse?
If the animal cannot readily pass through the unit used to test carry-on bag size, it should not be allowed aboard. Period. End of argument.
@NotMax: My emotional support elephant is disappointed.
Luckily mine is pink with baby blue spots and no one else can see him.
it’s First Class, by now I would have thought you would have noticed that “the rules” are different.
It’s not “peak Caligula”, but it’s getting close. Earlier today one of the banner ads was “buy one of these $15m condo’s and get an “exclusive” $80k Tiffany Broach.
@NotMax: I am an animal lover, and I am so fucken done with so-called “emotional support animals” in the airport. In the past three months, I’ve had to deal with incessant barking and un-leash-trained dogs getting all up in my grill while I am trying to deal with my luggage at security. And one lady brought her cat in a carrier and the cat yowled the entire fucken time.
i am sympathetic to nervous flyers, but take a goddamn Xanax like the rest of us.
Don’t know how recent this is, but it’s news to me. (Nice right cross there, lady!)
Here? That seems like a targeting ad failure.
Zero argument here. Not to mention folks who are allergic being stuffed into the same cabin, with its already questionable ventilation.
Particularly asinine because it is a brooch, not a broach.
I feel like if you have a bona fide need for an emotional support animal, there should be some sort of vetting/training/support organization that would help you decide on, for lack of a better word, a convenient animal like a dog or maybe a monkey. But do people just show up at a designated office somewhere like: “This is my emotional support gorilla; where do I get my permit?”
The algorithm probably responded to a bunch of the Bloomberg pages and comments.
Yeah, I was owned by cats for 25-30 years, and I can understand anxiety, (panic disorder here), but geez, people these days…
You shouldn’t have broached the subject.
Betting pool still open on who will be the first Republican demanding free travel for his/her “emotional support Negro.”
ESA rules and laws vary by Country and State/Province.
Some places require that the animal be trained, wear a uniform and that a medical professional(s) confirm need.
Other places, a note from your doctor or too much money is all you need.
Hey, thought better of it and removed the snarky /pendant which had originally included.
@Baud: IMPURE, a real Democrat would have an emotional support donkey.
And hug him and squeeze him and call him George.
@?BillinGlendaleCA: A real Democrat would never give emotional support.
@NotMax: I would go with Sessions, but would love to see Miss Lindsey’s “support stud”.
Aaaand I apologize. I could not help myself.
Sounds like she was delivering a service animal that she’d trained, not an emotional support one. I watched a show on TV last year about a blind Muslim woman who had a trained and certified seeing eye miniature horse (because dogs are considered “unclean” in her culture, she couldn’t get a service dog). First time I discovered that miniature horses are intelligent enough to be service animals.
Completely OT: What on earth is going on with Tesla stock? Went from a little over $200 a share to $800.
@NotMax: I know I’m a louse, but I’m a live louse.
@Felanius Kootea: Scruba dub dub let’s pump shittons of Russki mob money into this stock?
sold off a huge swack of new stock to the Billionaires at a 4.6% mark down.
