Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Hell hath no fury like a farmer bankrupted.

The lights are all blinking red.

At some point, the ability to learn is a factor of character, not IQ.

Come on, media. you have one job. start doing it.

If you are still in the gop, you are either an extremist yourself, or in bed with those who are.

“The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.”

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

If senate republicans had any shame, they’d die of it.

When your entire life is steeped in white supremacy, equality feels like discrimination.

Of course you can have champagne before noon. That’s why orange juice was invented.

President Musk and Trump are both poorly raised, coddled 8 year old boys.

She burned that motherfucker down, and I am so here for it. Thank you, Caroline Kennedy.

“Everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

Imperialist aggressors must be defeated, or the whole world loses.

Fear or fury? The choice is ours.

Mediocre white men think RFK Jr’s pathetic midlife crisis is inspirational. The bar is set so low for them, it’s subterranean.

We will not go back.

Good lord, these people are nuts.

Boeing: repeatedly making the case for high speed rail.

Seems like a complicated subject, have you tried yelling at it?

Republicans: slavery is when you own me. freedom is when I own you.

Fight for a just cause, love your fellow man, live a good life.

If you don’t believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love isn’t freedom, it is privilege.

Russian mouthpiece, go fuck yourself.

They have got to cancel the debate and Pence has got to stop traveling around exposing god-knows who to his (possibly) infectious ass.

Note the repeated negative tests while in quarantine — Pence’s negative tests are not dispositive once he’s been exposed to anyone who has Covid (and he has). It is beyond irresponsible for him to say barriers are unnecessary at tomorrow’s debate.

Dems already hold their representatives to a far higher standard of behavior than Republicans do. I see no reason to rid the party of people who prove they can win elections because of actions in their personal lives that have nothing to do with politics or their jobs.

    re Cunningham, there’s new information:

Previously undisclosed text messages obtained by The Associated Press and additional interviews show that the relationship extended beyond suggestive texts to an intimate encounter as recently as July.
