    it’s a shame we’re now being bothered by RWNJs again, like cicadas, they come around on an historical cycle, some prime number of years after the last outcrop, there’s that subtle low buzz.

    I wish there were some way of actually educating the current White Supremicists about the negative outcomes of their ideology, death, loss of life, degradation of whole cultures, unbelevable  economic destruction– talking them out of their hideous cultural perversion.

    The last time it  took WW II and the Marshall Plan to put down the Nazis, before that it was the First US Civil War and Reconstruction to take down the CSA, if it takes the Second Civil War to put down the White Fascists First Partie then that’s what it will take. The KKK has been stomped out by the at least twice now, But they ARE slow learners.

    I don’t think the people of America are ready to allow ignorant pig fuckers to take over the nation just yet. Especially if Trump is all tied up by his legal obligations for 9-to-14 years.

    Now Imma go back to bed, I hope these sleepy musings were as entertaining for you all to read as they were to write.

    Back to Anne Laurie’s original post. Why do entitled preppies get a pass that your local biker doesn’t get. They aren’t actually that different, except the biker had a more difficult childhood.

    Anyone remember when some cable company sent Tucker Carlson to Israel to cover an intifada? His producer and cameraman both yelling at him to get down because that artillery was real.

    That boy has been an idiot for years. Now we know an evil idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.

    ETA Missed opportunity there, but whatever. Probably would have had unfortunate repercussions.

    Weird awkward position. I am a step-step grandmother. My stepdaughterr has stepchildren. I am not supposed to care. I do, intensely. Mostley I try to blend in in a way they can accept.

    Sometimes the families are so fucked up you have to jump in.

    Jon Stewart’s writers get more right than wrong. Left to his own devices, the record is spottier, IMHO.

    Regardless, he’s never been one I look to for deep insight.
