I watched the Denmark v Russia game, and it was wonderful. The Danes played really well and just buried Russia with a flood of goals in the second half while waiting for the Dutch to wake up and knock a few past the Fins. If anyone deserved to jump into the Round of 16 it’s them. and they’re matched with Wales! Either Wales or Denmark is going to the quarters and I’m all about it.
Also, Putin can suck it.
With Mount out, what will Southgate’s reason for not playing Grealish be now?!? (I actually think this gets him a start, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Southgate finds another reason to not play him)

No Mason Mount will be a blessing in disguise for England. He’s “coach candy” since he’s fast and aggressive on pressing, and coaches love his hustle, but he’s the master of completely awful shots when he should be passing to a better scorer on his team (of which there are probably a dozen on the national team).
