Standard disclaimer when covering Trump??. https://t.co/lhlEbBoWJx pic.twitter.com/wXE9fcad8f

— Ashley Parker (@AshleyRParker) December 5, 2021

Meadows’ artless book-tour admissions that TFG knew he was sick (and infectious) well before being ‘suddenly’ hospitalized has given our ‘strain at a gnat, swallow a camel’ Media Village Idiots an excuse to re-examine the fatal timeline:

Seven days. 500-plus people. @jdawsey1 and I follow the trail of potential infection following Trump’s first positive Covid test. https://t.co/lhlEbBoWJx

— Ashley Parker (@AshleyRParker) December 5, 2021

2/ Obviously I’m not surprised— but gets at a bigger point, which is that there is a lot of stigma around becoming infected/ incentives for certain people to try & not bring attention to it.

Unfortunately Trump did not help- he is part of the reason that atmosphere exists

— Abraar Karan (@AbraarKaran) December 7, 2021

Stenographer Haberman, not best pleased that Meadows just blurted out such a tasty tidbit, which she was no doubt saving for her upcoming book…

While Trump was trying to blame an aide for getting him sick while he talked to Hannity, he had returned from an event a short time earlier complaining he had no "strength" and his muscles weren't functioning, suggesting he had been infected well before https://t.co/AIHjNeumwh

— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) December 7, 2021

Look at the dog-like devotion on that well-nourished mug!

Meadows now says his point was Trump's test was false positive.

Except:

-Meadows himself said Trump looked ill

-Later negative test he describes isn't most reliable

-He told staff to treat Trump as infected

-Timeline = in line with earlier infectionhttps://t.co/z0vQnAKkUo

— Aaron Blake (@AaronBlake) December 2, 2021

still hilarious that meadows is such a dummy he put this in his book without realizing what it meant https://t.co/kAVYDYBdc9

    (Bumped up from downstairs.)

    Post-op report:

Woke up about 5:40, got processed out of the med center and got back to Sighthound Hall about 7:00. Had Thai food with a Tylenol + codeine chaser. Getting into the “Ow! my balls!” zone. ? But the Tylenol+ is starting to work too.

Found a semi-comfortable (i.e., not actively painful) reclining position on the couch, and I’m trying to convince myself that I’ll be even more comfortable if I go upstairs to bed. Nutsack saying that the imagined improvement could be the enemy of the “It’s not so awful here, actually.” Negotiations continue.

. . . Oof. Just sat up to reach my glass on the coffee table—very bad move. Nutsack may have a point.

But the operation is behind me now, and it’ll get better from here. Thanks for all of your comments.

Trump’s performance (non-stop loud shout/talking[1] while facing directly at Joe Biden) during his debate with Biden was quite clearly at least in part attempted domestic political assassination.
Remember, earlier in the year he ordered an international political assassination of the head of a branch of Iran’s government, so he had a track record.

[1]Respiratory Aerosol Emissions from Vocalization: Age and Sex Differences Are Explained by Volume and Exhaled CO2 (November 9, 2021)

Particle number concentrations between 0.25 and 33 μm were measured from 63 participants aged 12–61 years with concurrent monitoring of voice volume and exhaled CO2 levels. On average, singing produced 77% (95% CI: 42,109%) more aerosol than talking, adults produced 62% (CI: 27,98%) more aerosol than minors, and males produced 34% (CI: 0,70%) more aerosol than females.

OT: Wannabe Bomber Gets Zero Jail Time for Planting Homemade Explosives During BLM Protests

A Pennsylvania man who admitted to leaving a bag of homemade bombs in downtown Pittsburgh during the 2020 protests against the death of George Floyd won’t spend a day behind bars. Matthew Michanowicz, 53, was sentenced to time served and three years of probation by a judge on Monday. The first six months of his sentence will be served under home detention.

Michanowicz, who was called an “agitator” intent on violence by a former federal prosecutor, pleaded guilty to possession of an unregistered destructive device following a grand jury indictment in June 2020. A prosecutor at his trial argued Michanowicz should receive between 30 and 37 months in prison on the basis that his devices could have killed or seriously injured people.

Michanowicz was captured on surveillance footage biking to a protest site and planting a backpack there on May 31, 2020. A day later, officers summoned to respond to the suspicious bag found three explosive devices. Authorities later said the devices were spent pepper spray grenades with wicks held in place by foam spray insulation, filled with gasoline and capable of causing death. Investigators who later searched Michanowicz’s home found 10 more backpacks similar to the one he had planted.

I’m 63 and it seems like a bit young for the former; probably both are due to a lifetime of living in a high altitude, high number of sunny days (more UV radiation) state and recreating at even higher altitudes. @StringOnAStick: The difference between dry and wet MD is important.  Wet is worst.  I have wet in left eye and dry in my right.  Make sure you get a highly rated retinal specialist, if you can.  The shots work!  Also, take areds2 twice a day, and there are anecdotal reports that saffron supplements help.  I do both.  And wear amber polarized shades even on cloudy days and don’t go near a screen without uv blocking amber reading glasses.  Mine was diagnosed when I was 65.  I’m 68 and the frequency of shots has dwindled drastically.  I haven’t had one in over a year, bt get a full check up every 3 months.  They caught it early.  As an artist I hope to have my sight into my 90s.  Cataracts are more common.  My specialist says eventually we’ll al get ’em.

@Dan B: My brother was surprised by the pain after his tubes snipped.

Anyone here remember a very early Bill Cosby routine about having minor surgery under local anesthetic, and becoming concerned when overhearing the Doc saying “Whoops!” (“Whaddaya mean Whoops!?!  I know what I mean when I say whoops!”)

Exact thing happened to me during my vasectomy.  Happy to report no lingering I’ll-effects, but it caused serious concern at the time…

    @Ken:

Except presumably Newsmax didn’t take him out back and shoot him afterward.

    Damn.

@Betty: thank you.  They mentioned injections so it must be the wet version.

So the question is did Trump, knowing he was infected with COVID, intentionally intend to infect Biden at the debate?
