(For those not raised in the Church, one has to be in ‘a state of grace’, attainable by confessing one’s sins, in order to receive a Communion wafer. For your average ginger cat, that would mean a period of no more than 75 seconds between absolution and the Communion service… )

I always wondered what “state of grace” (1990 film) meant. Pre google, I was too lazy to look it up at the library. The first two acts of the movie were great, with Gary Oldman stealing the movie, but the third act stunk.
