Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

They punch you in the face and then start crying because their fist hurts.

I like political parties that aren’t owned by foreign adversaries.

The fundamental promise of conservatism all over the world is a return to an idealized past that never existed.

Pessimism assures that nothing of any importance will change.

With all due respect and assumptions of good faith, please fuck off into the sun.

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

You are either for trump or for democracy. Pick one.

Something needs to be done about our bogus SCOTUS.

Make the republican party small enough to drown in a bathtub.

I’m more christian than these people and i’m an atheist.

So very ready.

Democracy is not a spectator sport.

Not loving this new fraud based economy.

Quote tweet friends, screenshot enemies.

We are learning that “working class” means “white” for way too many people.

“They all knew.”

Giving in to doom is how we fail to fight for ourselves & one another.

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

SCOTUS: It’s not “bribery” unless it comes from the Bribery region of France. Otherwise, it’s merely “sparkling malfeasance”.

They think we are photo bombing their nice little lives.

Every one of the “Roberts Six” lied to get on the court.

Reality always gets a vote in the end.

Rupert, come get your orange boy, you petrified old dinosaur turd.

The republican speaker is a slippery little devil.

    @AJ: Who doesn’t want good sleep? :-)

    I just woke up and I’m headed back to bed, but it looked like we needed a new thread.  I am already yawning, but of course I had to do today’s Wordle.

    @West of the Rockies:   Subaru Diane sent me the video.  I added that credit to the post up top but I must not have been adding that as you were pulling up the post.

    I thought it was absolutely charming.

    @Dangerman: I am glad my Boilermakers helped fulfill the dreams of St Peter’s like they did North Texas last year and UA-Little Rock a few years ago.  It was no fair that they had to play St Peter’s on National Peacock Day!

    @JCJ:
    As an alum myself, I have to say nothing screamed “Purdue basketball” more than the Boilermakers losing to Rutgers in the first game they ever were ranked number one earlier this season.
