They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

In short, I come down firmly on all sides of the issue.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

One More Angel for the Michigan Group – ‘Wooo, Let’s Do It!’

We have one more Balloon Juice Angel to help get us to the $25,000 mark for our Michigan group!

When I wrote to him to say that his Angel Match #7 would be starting today, he wrote back just now with a simple message:

“Wooo, Let’s Do It!”

As I write this, there are no more Balloon Juice Angels waiting in the wings.

Angel #7 will match up to $50 for each person who puts their donation in a comment, up to a total of $1,000.

Let’s get this done for Michigan, shall we?

    Is there a maximum dollar amount for Angel #7? Or is it truly a $50 match until $25,000 is reached?

    I did not mean to mislead, I just forgot to include that Angel #7 is for $1,000.

    So he is matching up to $1,000 of donations listed in the comments, with a max of $50 per person.

    @Old School:  You raise a good point.  Unless another BJ angel jumps in, we are most definitely going to run out of match money before we reach $25,000.

    It is true that Bj angels seem to appear when we need them the most, so maybe another angel will make an appearance.

    Another $50.

    Weird first week of post-Tax Season thanks to my girlfriend. Been catching up on the outside world with a vengeance.

    Tuesday night – Get to experience Detroit City FC beating the Columbus Crew live.

    Saturday night – After spending much of the afternoon catching 200 Pokémon and trying every beer Eastern Market Brewing has to offer, a friend of hers offers tickets to Blue Man Group at the Fox. Right up front. Always wanted to see them, and it fell in our lap.

    Then today a random tweet lead me to find out that Wesley Stace / John Wesley Harding is putting on a house show a few miles from my office next Wednesday. 40 people at someone’s house. We will be two of them.

    I already had to make her watch The Sparks Brothers to get her ready for their 4/1 concert in Royal Oak, now I have only a week to get her up to speed on Wes. I’ve been a fan for over 30 years myself, both his music and novels.

    After two years of COVID Tax Season, to suddenly be able to do all of this middle aged hipster stuff all in a month or so is amazing.
