And she’s on tour, too. Still too soon for me to be tempted by a very indoor venue, assuming there were tickets to be had. But these days, I’m just happy to see Happy Birthday! instead of R.I.P. on the Twitter timelines…
Thank you all so much for the kind birthday wishes! 🎂❤️

Fraud Guy
Saw her when she opened for Hell Freezes Over tour. My friend tried to be late so he could just catch the Eagles; I told him for $75, I wanted both good acts.
FelonyGovt
Glad to hear she’s still going strong. She was a wonderful role model when my daughter came out at age 15.
Anne Laurie
I dragged my not-yet-Spousal Unit to our first Etheridge concert when we still lived in Michigan, and she was an ‘up & coming folk rocker’ doing relatively small venues. Then there the big outdoor-arena show in Foxborough (MA) when Our Little Secret was released… she wasn’t *quite* out of the closet at that point, but the audience was at least two-thirds women, and Spousal Unit got death stares from a few of them…
Saw her again in Lowell, on her recovery tour (I Run for Life) , and most recently at Tanglewood, the summer before the pandemic, with the Boston Pops doing backup.
(Pretty sure there were a couple other shows, but memory fails. And then there was the 2018 concert in NH where we had tickets, but Spousal Unit’s favorite brother decided to get married in Michigan that weekend, sigh… )
