Balloon Juice Videos (YouTube Channel)
Has anyone noticed the fourth icon in the site footer? That’s the Balloon Juice Video channel on YouTube. Right now it’s mostly Adam Schiff videos and the VAAC video, but I hope to add DougJ’s 20th Anniversary interview with John Cole. My (not so) secret hope is that one of these days DougJ will have more time and can do more interviewing. DoubJ has such a great voice, I think he was made for this!

@schrodingers_cat: Can you help me understand the difference between posting the book club video on Balloon Juice, which we announced we would do ahead of time, and putting the same video up on the channel?
Because in order to easily post a video on Balloon Juice, it has to be up on YouTube somewhere. Videos can be 80MB or more, so they can’t be loaded directly into the media library
Not unrelated, i don’t believe you are even in any of the images on either book club. At least it seems that way after a cursory look.

We spent an exhausting day shopping for a new car. Wife was finally ready to trade in her 2004 Honda CR-V for something newer. Settled on a 2020 Honda HR-V with low mileage. Then we had to clean out 18 years worth of junk and trash from the old car.

Even during the zoom though, there was a real sense of kinship coming from both sides. It was really great.
