Chicken Boy once graced the rooftop of a restaurant on Broadway in Downtown LA which as you might guess, served chicken. Ā The statue is an adaption of the ‘muffler man’ statues that are found throughout California often carrying a muffler for a muffler business, or a golf club. Ā There is a female adaption that we’ve seen in these pages up in Pearsonville. Ā Eventually the restaurant on Broadway went out of business and the the statue on top of the building was going to be destroyed. Ā A local artist saved the statue and stored it for a number of years until she found this location in Highland Park as Chicken Boy’s new home.

Who is that atop the roof, it is Chicken Boy.
