Chicken Boy once graced the rooftop of a restaurant on Broadway in Downtown LA which as you might guess, served chicken. The statue is an adaption of the ‘muffler man’ statues that are found throughout California often carrying a muffler for a muffler business, or a golf club. There is a female adaption that we’ve seen in these pages up in Pearsonville. Eventually the restaurant on Broadway went out of business and the the statue on top of the building was going to be destroyed. A local artist saved the statue and stored it for a number of years until she found this location in Highland Park as Chicken Boy’s new home.
Who is that atop the roof, it is Chicken Boy.
