Love them all.
(They’re all above the fold, in case you wanted to change that.)
Josie
Thanks for including Emma, WaterGirl. She went to join her buddy, Teddi, this week after fighting the good fight for a long time. She helped raise my two granddaughters, ages 7 and 4. They will miss her as much as we do.
trollhattan
Have many questions re. what’s up with Eowyn. Besides the paws (clearly being interviewed by the cops).
WaterGirl
@zhena gogolia: Are they still? ย Because I changed that about a minute after I put up the post.
WaterGirl
@trollhattan: I know, another goofball! ย (high praise indeed)
zeecube
I think Ziggy saying you need to sweeten the pot with more mice.
Kristine
OMG, cope, Jesse could be Gaby’s twin! Do you know what breed/mix?
I’ve had Gaby’s DNA tested twice. Both times, predominantly husky with a mix of other things including terrier.
zhena gogolia
@WaterGirl: No, now they’re split up.

I Love looking at these pictures.
eclare
Wow Ziggy is def trying to say something about the food available!
eclare
@Josie:ย ย So sorry about Emma.ย She looks like a very joyful dog.
Josie
@eclare: Thanks. She was, and she thought she was one of the big dogs at the park.
TaMara
cope – Jesse is my kind of dog, something about those hairdos, LOl
Loving all these pets, makes for a nice break in my day.
TaMara
@Josie: Oh, so sorry for you loss.
Today I finally painted a couple of doors – to cover up Bixby’s scratch marks. Took me two years, and I still got teary.
Josie
@TaMara:ย โ
Thank you. I know. They never really leave you.
cope
@Kristine: She is some kind of terrier mix, adopted from St. Croix. That’s all we know. There is a very similar looking dog in the movie “Cruella”. We got her because she looks like the dog my wife had 45 years ago.
WaterGirl
@eclare: The food here is terrible and the portions are so small?”
WaterGirl
@Josie: I saved your writeup and thought we could do a Furry Friends post on Emma after Christmas. ย I have one from Ozark, too.
Josie
@WaterGirl:ย โ
Thanks. That’s very kind of you. Looking forward to reading Ozark’s.
CatRadio
@WaterGirl:
@eclare: You guys nailed it, I think :) Though one morning, I came out to find sheโd left me a shiny dime in her bowl. Still not sure how she pulled that one off.
Thanks, WaterGirl, for bringing the extra joy for the holidays.
karen marie
I wish I weren’t old and on my last dog. Before I got my first dog, after much research I had decided a standard poodle was the breed for me. I ended up with a cocker spaniel instead (I had known the parents for several years) and then stuck with spaniels. But I do love poodles. They are so smart!
mrmoshpotato
@trollhattan: Really?ย It’s obviously yoga time.ย Upward dog!
The Moar You Know
@TaMara: my wife will not let me paint or replace the front doors as they’ve got scratches from both her dogs that she lost more than 15 years ago, before we got married.
I am 100% on board with that, even though they really do need replacement.
The Moar You Know
@karen marie: I’m old enough to really have to start taking that into consideration.ย I utterly refuse to leave an orphaned dog behind.
FelonyGovt
I love all of these animals! I particularly love Ziggy’s expression.
WaterGirl
@FelonyGovt: I hope you guys don’t get tired of these before we make our way through all the pics that have been sent in!
zhena gogolia
@WaterGirl: I will never get tired of these.
Or of tinsel-inundated 1950s Christmases, for that matter.
