I really wanted to title this post Balls to the Wall, but I was able to to exhibit at least a modicum of self control.
Whether it’s our awesome members in the House, or President Biden, or a bunch of young women in MN, I like what I’m seeing.
I’ve been working all day, so apologies if you have already seen all of these already.

Intense Biden pressure on this gets results: Netanyahu forced publicly reject Gazan displacement and Israeli reoccupation, against the far-right parties in his own coalition. This will undermine that coalition, which as I’ve written, is Biden’s point: https://t.co/xVLiUqOBsw https://t.co/PhFY2Zq9xB

when it comes right down to it, most of the elected folks in the GOP have grown used to having to operate in their own media bubble over at Faux and OAN and all of the other fawning rightwing media ensembles…. when they get exposed to anything outside that bubble they find out that while they can try and sell that shit they’re peddling, but its a damn sight harder to sell it.

Oh, how I wish you had! But no worries, this year is bound to provide many additional opportunities.

Most people think “Balls To The Wall” is a song by AC/DC because it sounds like them. Not so. It was by a band called Accept. It should have been!

@prostratedragon: Confession is good for the soul, right? And who among us is so poor that we don’t dismiss $8,000,000 as change found under the sofa cushions?

I hadn’t seen all these before, WG. Thanks for the post. Balls to the Wall indeed!!

@prostratedragon: That’s it. He has to go to jail for something. If we are going to have a country after this next election, he has to go to jail. Period. End of story.

Yes, but….
It’s the Republicans with their backs to the wall. (Backed into a corner of their own making, actually.) And, as seen from their obsequiousness towards TIFG, they have no balls.

I also like what I’m seeing, WG. Although I have a concern that a confident, successful Dem party is frightening to a lot of people, we’re better now than we’ve ever been, and I am enjoying it.
Netanyahu so wants and needs Trump to win. And he’s not wrong about that.

This is hopeful, especially with DeSantis endorsing the ethnic cleansing of the population of Gaza when asked about the region during the debates.
Nikki Hayley’s position on Gaza was just as vile, but less direct.

That was so gross seeing the appalling Nancy Mace telling Hunter that he didn’t have the balls to show up, when he was sitting right in front of her. She thought she’d be able to get off her bon mots without having to do it to his face. Then Marge waved her porno pictures around again. These gals would bring down the tone of a brothel on the waterfront.
Gretchen
@Baud: I wish more people understood that Netanyahu wants Trump to win. The fact that is actions are weakening Biden is a plus for him. Hey, Bibi, can you help me out here? Hell, no.
Chetan Murthy
@Gretchen: And from what I understand, Bibi only said the words in English, not in Hebrew. In Hebrew he and his cronies use eliminationist language, making Biblical references to genocides.
Alison Rose
@Gretchen: At this point, I’m convinced both of those women are just dying to deep throat him so they’re acting out instead because they know they’ll never get the chance.

Skip to the chase, title it No Balls. At all.
Gretchen
@Alison Rose: yes. MTG seems to spend a lot of time poring over photos of Hunter and finding opportunities to wave them around. And it’s reported that Nancy’s boyfriend broke up with her after she told the Prayer Breakfast that she gave up sex with him to be there, and regaled her office staff with way more details about her sex life than they wanted to know. If only they’d pair up with each other and leave the rest of us out of it.

@Gretchen: My understanding is that this has been a problem for a long time: since Americans typically don’t understand Hebrew, Israeli right-wingers say one thing to their base, and another thing to Americans.
It’s somewhat like what happened during Brexit: Brit pols would say all these inflammatory things about Europe, not really understanding that EU pols could understand it all — they all speak English after all. But when EU pols spoke in their national languages, unless they got translated, often Brit pols didn’t learn what they said.

To be fair, however you get your freak on is fine as long as it doesn’t involve kids or animals. It’s simply kind of laughable to watch anyone from the party of Trump and Gingrich try and plant a flag on this kind of “moral high ground” as if this man has held any public office or has any kind of outsized influence on his father or policy.

I was introverted. But, I had a 6 pack, still do.
My Momma taught me how to be “The Gentleman”.
Got picked up one time after close, at the Ovaltine Cafe. Young woman, ( I was a young man) asked if she could sit at my table, her “date” was not impressed. So we talked. It was difficult because she was deaf, and close to mute, but there were lot’s of napkins and I had a pen which I shared. She asked me to come home with her, “for coffee”, so I followed her and her GF on my motorbike, back to her place. An apartment above a retail shop on Willingdon street.
Her GF left, to drive the babysitter home, (kid????),
That was okay too.
In the early AM, while she was back asleep, we, (her son and I) had Captain Crunch and watched cartoons together. When she got up, there was coffee and I made us a proper breakfast.
I left her my number, but was working night shifts for the next two weeks. Never heard back.
S’okay.

A key part of that is getting to know your Sub’s, as people and their kinks.

Another way to put it, is any woman that was willing to sleep with me, even for just one night, was not a “slut”,
any woman who was not willing to sleep with me, had dicerning taste.
Allison and I hooked up at at Club. She, me and her BF, staggered drunkenly back to her parents house, ( they were away), where we slept in blankets on the Rec room floor, (remember those?). There was some slight macking, but no more that that. There was never anything more than that.
For the next 3 years, until she got married, she would come by my house, hang with my mother for a bit, then come into the basement, to wake me for work. We would then hang for an hour or so, and just talk.

@prostratedragon:
I think it was Fran Lebowitz who said that the scariest thing about Trump is how stupid he is.
Most of us know a few people who are really, really stupid, and it’s tempting to think that you know someone who is as stupid as Donald Trump. But you’d be wrong.
Bruce K in ATH-GR
@Splitting Image: The frightening thing is that, if he were a Dungeons and Dragons character, he’d have maxed-out charisma, sacrificing both intelligence and wisdom as dump stats.
Hitler and Mussolini had a similar dark charisma, though neither of them were as stupid as TFG (both were incredibly unwise, though).
TriassicSands
Trump’s stupidity is only a small part of what makes him so scary, and the flip side of that is that his stupidity has helped immeasurably in limiting the damage he has done.
Of equal importance in Trump’s scariness are his seriously failing cognitive abilities. He’s not just stupid; he’s nuts. Now, he wants to build a dome over the entire U.S.A. When he’s not defeating Obama, he’s making one insane statement after another. Magnets don’t work underwater; we could have prevented the Civil War by negotiating; antifa and the FBI led the charge on January 6, 2021; and the pain that Iowans feel over a fatal school shooting is “very unique to your state.” WTF?
Another obvious and important source of Trump’s scariness — he’s a sociopath. And the list goes on…
Tony Jay
@piratedan:
Word. Frex, that’s not ‘Cluck’ they’re saying, and they say it a lot.
TriassicSands
And that is something that completely baffles me. Charisma is defined as “personal magnetism or charm.” But I simply can’t see anything about Trump that would qualify. Charm? Really?
As for personal magnetism, I guess all we have to do is submerge Trump in water and his personal magnetism will evaporate. So sayeth the sage himself.

@FastEdD:

I wish that Hunter had responded to Rep. Silicone Mace (R-epugnant) with “You must have been staring at something else in my dick pics. Maybe you can get Marge to show them again just to see if you are right.”
Geminid
A factor conditioning Netanyahu’s statement yesterday regarding Gaza: South Africa presents its charge of genocide at the International Court of Justice today. South Africa’s counsel will cite inflammatory statements by Netanyahu and his cabinet members* as part of the evidence presented.
The UN body is based at The Hague, and the hearing was to commence at 10am local time, or 35 minutes ago. Israel wil present its defense tomorrow, with British Professor Malcolm Shaw, KC leading.
*One reason Netanyahu has so many cabinet members shooting their mouths off about Gaza is there are 30 cabinet positions. That’s lot for a nation of 9.5 million! When he put together his coalition together a year ago, the PM ended up promising cabinet positions to 30 different MKs, almost half his 64 member majority. Many of these positions have only nominal authority, but the staff jobs are patronage positions.

@piratedan: What stands out in stark contrast is the gaping chasm between the Democrats and the Republicans in Congress in terms of quality. Our Democrats just skewered the Republicans on the committee. The GOP members, on the other hand, was a parade of the stupids step out.
Former President George W. Bush liked to talk about “the soft bigotry of low expectations,” and we see it on full display in the GOP itself, where the best they can do is faux outrage. What a bunch of Nimrods. And they are what MAGA sends us.

He’s old, he eats crap, he’s in the “best?” shape of his crapola life, and he thinks he’s going to live forever?
One very rarely knows when the end is near but he’s such a health nut, he’s young (at 77, given his life?) seemingly eats so well, and yes I know old, I’m not much younger than him and see his concept of eating shit, being just a tad overweight, having a life of zero pressure and possible criminal behavior being such a positive force for living forever. As is typical for him, he’s basically in a corner, with zero concept of how to get out, mostly because he has zero idea how he got there in the first place. He thinks he can do no wrong and proves time and time again that being self delusional is no way to go through life.
