Former president Donald Trump on Thursday promoted a soon-to-launch, Trump Organization crypto platform, “The DeFiant Ones” to his 7.5 million followers on Truth Social.

“For too long, the average American has been squeezed by the big banks and financial elites,” Trump wrote. “It’s time we take a stand — together.”

The post marks the first time the Republican nominee for president has used his personal platform to promote the as yet unactivated digital bank. Within minutes, his son Donald Trump Jr., shared the post with his 12 million X followers.

Trump’s post includes a link to a Telegram channel called “The DeFiant Ones,” which had approximately 29,000 followers as of Thursday morning, and climbing.

Once again TFCG is breaking all the norms of this country.  Starting a business in the middle of a presidential campaign.  Of course, no one in the MSM is even going to question this.  One hand maybe they are doing one more fleecing of the rubes before they head to a nonextradition country after the election.  However, I believe they think there are going win and then who is going to stop the scam bank they are setting up.

Trump wants to gild Trump bucks with crypto so he can get his cut.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-bucks-promise-wealth-maga-loyalty-lose-thousands-rcna84965
NBC News has identified the Colorado-based companies behind the Trump Bucks as Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots and reviewed dozens of social posts, online complaints and hundreds of misleading ads for the products. Additionally, NBC News has found at least a dozen people like Amann who say they invested thousands of dollars after watching the pitches on Telegram and other websites that strongly suggested that Trump himself was endorsing these products.
“Now I’m questioning whether he is aware of this,” Amann said of Trump.
Repeated attempts to reach a spokesperson for Trump and his re-election campaign by email have gone unanswered. No evidence suggests the alleged scammers are connected to Trump or his re-election campaign.

At any rate we have got to crack down on crypto. Obviously they understand people are getting fed up, which is why they are spending so much on bribes and ads this election.

Trump is going to screw this up.

I’d like some smart groups to pay to have a lot of stuff streaming and on TV for the next year on how a lot of historical financial frauds worked. SEC – Investor.gov:

5 Ways Fraudsters May Lure Victims Into Scams Involving Crypto Asset Securities – Investor Alert
    May 29, 2024

The SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy is issuing this Investor Alert because fraudsters continue to exploit the popularity of crypto assets to lure retail investors into scams. Crypto assets may include assets commonly referred to as cryptocurrencies, crypto, coins, and tokens.

Fraudsters often use innovations and new technologies to perpetrate investment scams, and this has been the case with crypto asset securities-related investments. While federal and state regulators continue to bring enforcement actions in this space, recovering money from the fraudsters can be difficult because it can be challenging to trace and recover funds. For example, fraudsters can use technology to obscure their identities or hide the trail of funds using crypto assets. Recovering your investment from a crypto asset-related scam can also be difficult because fraudsters can quickly send your funds overseas.

Fraudsters use a variety of techniques to convince investors to hand over their hard-earned money. Here are five things you should watch out for to avoid losing your money to a scam involving crypto assets.

Fraudsters Connect With You on Social Media Platforms or Through a Supposedly Accidental Text Message, and Then Gain Your Trust.

    […]

Scamming people isn’t Ok. People don’t somehow deserve to be scammed.

I hope the SEC comes down hard on these monsters, and all the rest of them.

    Obliatory Smiling William Tecumseh Sherman

    Cheers,
    Scott.

Former president Donald Trump on Thursday promoted a soon-to-launch, Trump Organization crypto platform, “The DeFiant Ones” to his 7.5 million followers on Truth Social.

The last Great Grift from TCF before he flees the country. How long does it take to effectively pump and dump a Ponzi scheme? Seems like he’s not going to get optimal return in the 100 or so days before the election. He’s probably banking on (see what I did there?) roping in a bunch of rubes after he loses too and starts the next phase of “Stop the Steal”. So that maybe gives him until January or February ride out the promises he made to establish his platform as the first federally backed crypto? Real question is what’s the timing on his sentencing and other court cases cause that’s going to be the determining factor in when he has to flee the US. And actually fleeing might extend his pump phase. You know, the POTUS IN EXILE phase. So I guess the determining factor will be how fast the MAGAt wise up and stop putting money in the Ponzi and start a run on the bank. Never, I guess might be the answer on that? And then again maybe this is Elmo’s pump & dump to get out of Xhitter dept. I doubt he waits very long to dump whatever he’s told TCF he’ll put in to get the grift rolling.

Trump’s Truth Social stock is going to crater and become worthless when one of two things happen – when Trump sells his holdings, or when Trump loses the election, whichever comes first. I’m beginning to think that Trump is going to sell his shares as soon as he legally can, in late September. So the tragic tales of Trump supporters who lost their life savings will be this year’s October Surprise.

Sometime back I made the prediction that under a 2nd Trump regime, they would reconstitute the position of Drug Czar, with Don Jr. as Head, and La Guilfoyle as Deputy Director, the purpose being for Jr & the Breakdancer to serve as liaisons/ambassadors to the drug cartels, thus insuring that Trump and his dimbulb brood could wet their beaks. Setting up a crypto operation looks like the 1st step towards that dream.

Also, wasn’t the remake of “The Defiant Ones” given the awkward title of “Fled”? Seems somehow appropriate.

I have a hard time understanding why people don’t just hang up and call the FBI to find out if it’s true, because telling people to give them access to your accounts and then not look at the account is definitely not the way law enforcement would ever do anything! I have to wonder if these people are so suspicious of the government they’ll believe any crazy thing, or so gullible that again they’ll believe anything and not question it because they’re afraid to. It was sad, that was most of her life savings and they had converted it to crypto. She had hired a company to try to trace it for her and get some of it back.
