We have an external match from The Civics Center and an Angel match from PatrickG!
frosty will match up to $50 per person, up to a total of $1,000. To be matched, tell us about your donation in the comments or by email.
Your donation + PatrickG Angel match + external match = 4x your donation
Example: Your donation ($50) + PatrickG’s Angel match ($50) + external match ($100) = $200

Well I hope that my contribution from yesterday will count! I donated $45 at about 1:40pm EDT yesterday, after seeing your post mentioning this Civics Center project yesterday! I’m especially interested in this since I am a resident of Pennsylvania, in the Philly suburbs of Montgomery County.
Goku (aka Amerikan Baka)
I’m in for $25
ewrunning

Donated $50
Spanky
In for $50.
WaterGirl
@Rheinhard: Thanks for the donation!
In order for a donation to be matched, we need to know about the donation before the match has been completed. :-)
In this case, there was actually $25 left on frosty’s match that I was going to tag onto this match, so I can give you that match for the $25 you donated yesterday. I hope that helps!
WaterGirl
@Goku (aka Amerikan Baka): @ewrunning: @sixthdoctor: @Spanky: @Rheinhard:
Together, that makes $225, so with the Angel match and the external match, collectively that’s $1,000 for this effort!
Thank you!

Since this is an open thread, the North Carolina Supreme Court election situation has a development. I’m posting about it here because a couple weeks ago some folks were interested in helping cure ballots. There is an information phone call on Friday, 5:30-6:30 eastern time. This is part of what it’s for:
“Join Justice Allison Riggs, the NC Democratic Party, Down Home, and Carolina Federation at our Ballot Rescue Launch to find out how YOU can plug in and sign up to take action. If a cure process goes into effect, daily phone banks and canvasses will start on Saturday, April 26. Links will be shared at the Launch.”
Friday’s phone call is posted on Mobilize.
I would post the link, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of my personal info on that page. If I get better info, I’ll post it.I think if you google “nc dems ballot rescue launch” you will find the Mobilize link as the 1st result. Hopefully you don’t also get my phone number and email on the Mobilize page : )Also I put $15 in the Act Blue thermometer.

@Joy in FL: I googled and added the link to your comment. Hope that’s okay. One less hurdle for people. :-)
Thank you for posting that, and for your donation!
Joy in FL
@WaterGirl: Thanks for adding the link. Even after I logged out of Mobilize, my info was still there.

@Rheinhard: @WaterGirl: So I’m reading the thread: Reinhard donated $45 and the last $25 of my match went to cover that, leaving $20 unmatched? If that’s the case I’ll put $20 more in the thermometer.
We can’t have $20 fall through the cracks because of timing!
WaterGirl
@frosty: Thank you, frosty!
That is super kind of you. :-) If Reinhard checks back in, I’m sure they will be pleased.
bbleh
In for $50. Bailed outta stonks a while ago, so I should do something useful.
PatrickG
@WaterGirl: are frosty and I now the same person? :)
WaterGirl
@PatrickG: Hey, I changed it from frosty in 1 out of 3 places in comment #1.
33%. Not my best work. Failing grade for me!
*At least I got it right in the title of the post. Maybe that brings me up to 50%. Still a failing grade.
PatrickG
@WaterGirl: don’t worry, I’m chill here. Just some gentle teasing.
I’m not frosty, in other words.
I’ll show myself out.
