Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

They want us to be overwhelmed and exhausted. Focus. Resist. Oppose.

It’s a good piece. click on over. but then come back!!

Radicalized white males who support Trump are pitching a tent in the abyss.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

“Until such time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on.”

Wow, you are pre-disappointed. How surprising.

You cannot shame the shameless.

He seems like a smart guy, but JFC, what a dick!

Well, whatever it is, it’s better than being a Republican.

Their freedom requires your slavery.

“Facilitate” is an active verb, not a weasel word.

GOP baffled that ‘we don’t care if you die’ is not a winning slogan.

Tide comes in. Tide goes out. You can’t explain that.

Petty moves from a petty man.

Of course you can have champagne before noon. That’s why orange juice was invented.

Accountability, motherfuckers.

Hey hey, RFK, how many kids did you kill today?

Donald Trump found guilty as fuck – May 30, 2024!

rich, arrogant assholes who equate luck with genius

Roe is not about choice. It is about freedom.

Damn right I heard that as a threat.

Baby steps, because the Republican Party is full of angry babies.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Did you run into any hail on the way? Maryland got some this afternoon around 4 pm (it wasn’t supposed to rain until after 6 pm today, National Weather Service cuts affected the forecast accuracy?)  the thunderstorm started about 3-something and then turned into a hailstorm. Then more intense rain after 6 pm during the drive back to Virginia. At least I was inside and shopping, Mr  Rudbek was out riding his bike in the near vicinity and had to shelter under a bridge until the hail stopped.

    @Kayla Rudbek:

Mr  Rudbek was out riding his bike in the near vicinity and had to shelter under a bridge until the hail stopped.

I am so envious!  That’s a story I’d be telling for the rest of my life.

No hail in my part of southern Maryland, alas. I wasn’t out on a bike, either – I was doing yard chores instead.

@lowtechcyclist: yeah, he managed to get to shelter, some of the vendors at the yarn festival took damage to their goods as they were outside in tents. Apparently one of the potters had shelves fall down and smashed up a lot of her inventory, other booths and tents had flooding (and since the morning had been clear, they might not have put down all the matting that they would have done if the ground had already been wet). So I was in the main exhibition building during the storm and I hadn’t visited all the outside vendors yet, which meant that I missed out on some of them. The festival goes on today, but I will probably do online ordering from the vendors who got hail damage.

@Kayla Rudbek: My daughter and I had planned to go this morning but have cancelled after seeing some pics of the damage. I’ve been attending for decades and don’t remember anything like this storm.

I’ll do some online ordering too.

@skerry: I think that most of the vendors are up and running at the festival today; I just routinely go in person for one day only because I can spend more than enough money on one day 😁 I will have to post pics of my haul over on Bluesky soon.
