Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

There are a lot more evil idiots than evil geniuses.

Narcissists are always shocked to discover other people have agency.

The gop is a fucking disgrace.

Relentless negativity is not a sign that you are more realistic.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

Nothing says ‘pro-life’ like letting children go hungry.

Everything is totally normal and fine!!!

You cannot love your country only when you win.

Fear or fury? The choice is ours.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

Peak wingnut was a lie.

There is no compromise when it comes to body autonomy. You either have it or you do not.

Democracy cannot function without a free press.

Something needs to be done about our bogus SCOTUS.

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

New McCarthy, same old McCarthyism.

Hey Washington Post, “Democracy Dies in Darkness” was supposed to be a warning, not a mission statement.

Posting the pics in no particular order. ~WG

I am a long time reader / lurker on the blog. I don’t comment but have sent emails to front-pagers in the past.

Sharing some photos from the No Kings protest on Saturday 6/14 outside City Hall in Downtown Orlando, FL.

The protest started at 5 PM and was scheduled to end at 7 PM. We found a small group of people still standing outside City Hall protesting when we drove by at 9-30 PM on our way home. People wearing protest t-shirts and carrying protest signs could be seen all over downtown long after 7 PM.

People in the crowd were very nice to each other. Organization was great, water was distributed throughout – it was 91 feels like 99 during major period of the protest. We saw couple of people succumb to the heat and humidity but medics arrived immediately to take care of them each time.

When the crowds on the sidewalks grew too large, cops shut down some streets to traffic so we could use the intersection right in front of City Hall to continue protesting.

Opposition sightings – not many. One man came with a Trump Won flag and Trump was right about everything sign. As he passed through the crowd, the Fuck Trump chants grew really loud. Another man was talking about Jesus and how everyone was going to need documentation to enter heaven. No political signs or talk, sounded more like religious preaching than Trump support. All the people around him started chanting pro-democracy and anti-Trump slogans really loud to drown him out until he walked away.

All the cars driving by were honking in support. Some even were holding up their own signs out the window or sunroof. Many were smiling at the protesters, giving the peace sign or waving. During couple of previous protests at the same spot, some middle fingers were given to protesters but I did not see any middle fingers today.

All in all, compared to the two previous protests, one in January and one in April, today the size of the crowd, the energy level and the sign game were raised levels of magnitude higher.

Thanks for all the hard work by the front pagers in these perilous times!

Thank you Orlando for showing up in big numbers!

Kind of surprised you didn’t get any coal rollers harassing you all, maybe they went to the Lakeland rally instead…
