I didn’t make a sign, I got one from a nice young couple. It said “Protect Democracy” and had upside down flags taped to it. There were a lot of people there.
More of the crowd. It was a good day. When you live in a conservative area, it’s nice to see you aren’t alone. There was lots of honking and only one truck flying Trump flags showed up.
This is the funniest sign I saw.
This guy was everywhere, I got a great picture of him at the 417 sign.
This woman was next to me. She was an older lady – there were a lot of older white people there.
I tried to get a good picture of this guy’s donkey, but this was the best I could do.
Old School
Nice!

Thanks for posting those, WG!! That guy dressed like a clown was hilarious, he walked around waving that sign all up and down the street.
Suzanne
I love it!
That Epstein’s BFF display is fantastic. I love how creative people get.
Trivia Man

Nice to see in an area like that.

Only one Trump truck is good. No energy for pushback to No Kings? I wish.

@Soprano2: Just saw that this posted and I fixed the formatting just now. That should help! Sorry I didn’t catch it earlier.

I spent a week teaching there many many moons ago!

It’s almost like a meet-up, I feel like I know Soprano2 a little more just by seeing what her town looks like.
Soprano2
@raven: You wouldn’t know the place, Raven.
Redshift
Awesome! That is in fact one of the main purposes of organizing these, so I’m glad you were feeling it.

@raven: I was a flower girl in a wedding there, so that will tell you how long ago it was!
Duane
@Soprano2: Older white people there? That would be me!
About three-thousand people, and the concurrent Pridefest was packed. Good job, Soprano2!

A rally like that in Missoura is something! My family came from Barton County, and that area is pretty red, as well as having a large bushwhacker contingent during the Civil War.

I guess I was there in 1999!

#417betheone – made me look.
Clever!
And it just invites references to 47! Doubly-clever!
Great shots, thanks very much Soprano2!
Best wishes,
Scott.

@Duane: I heard that Pridefest was packed. My hairstylist closed his salon for it! I couldn’t go to any of those events.
Duane
@Another Scott: I thought it was stolen! People that live on Sesame Street, probably. Another mystery solved.
