On the Road is a weekday feature spotlighting reader photo submissions.
From the exotic to the familiar, whether you’re traveling or in your own backyard, we would love to see the world through your eyes.
I hope it’s not too late to get this in.
Wyandotte is a suburb of Detroit of around 25,000 people, about 10 miles south of it right on the Detroit River. There were hundreds of protestors lining Biddle Ave, the main drag through Wyandotte. The crowd was mostly older white people, but there were quite a few kids running around looking like they were having a blast.
A couple of my favorite signs:

We have 4 sets left after this one.
For awhile it was like the loaves and the fishes. No matter how many I put up, the number of unpublished ones kept growing. First time we’ve been below 5 since Saturday!

Thank you for posting all these! It’s been great seeing what it was like in all the different locations.

No kings from Queens!
(I hear Trump hates being reminded of that)

I was there! The April protest felt denser as people crowded to hear those giving speeches. The numbers were probably similar. Good response from passing vehicles. No problematic people (in the brief time I was able to attend).

@Temp Decloaked Lurker:
Glad you were there, too. It does seem like these reports are bringing us all closer together in a way.
