Let’s take a rainy spring walk (33:42 min) to admire the Central Park magnolia and cherry blossoms, from the West side of the Great Lawn, to the Boat House and the Bethesda Fountain, all the way to the Bow Bridge.

I inadvertently disturbed this group of geese. I usually keep my distance when I film wild life, and I thought I was well positioned but apparently not. I was hissed at by two of them with quite a hint of disdain. They were having none of my filming tomfoolery.

ema: Central Park is amazing. There are tinier versions elsewhere in the US. Cleveland has one (or some: the ethnic parks off what used to be Liberty Boulevard) . But nothing like Central Park. The whole country sees it in movies every day. I only have seen it once in my teens ( 1960s) but it is still in my head as an urban nature place. Amazing.

Lovely video, pictures and soundtrack. (Funny how those people were just walking around as of they weren’t afraid for their lives. Have we been lied to?)
