On a website full of the stupid and the odious and the stupidly odious and the odiously stupid, Andy McCarthy is perhaps the stupidest and the most odious of them all.
He was a Clinton appointee federal prosecutor turned torture enthusiast who wrote that rather than release Gitmo prisoners when Gitmo closes, we should take them out to a field, count to ten and release the AC-130.
How that stupid fuck still has a law license is a mystery to me.

The aforementioned "Matthew Weaver" was pretty much the laughingstock of Josh Marshall’s TPM during the Primary season. Once we all wised up to his race-baiting antics, he tucked tail and simpered off. To No Quarter, evidently.
He’s pathetic. Nothing more. Nothing less.

John,
We are all prisoners in this country. Don’t you know? Ask John Mccain.
We prisoners have to stick together.

i must admit that i did not click thru to the link (i’ve used up my capacity to tolerate stupid for the day), but if obama DID was in fact "affiliated with a national socialist party," certain elements of the new palin-loving republican party should have any problem with him.
i’m from chicago, and – as we say to our few national socialists here – "I HATE ILLINOIS NAZIS." and then we drive our bluesmobile right at them to see them jump off the bridge.

Agent Flowbee and his Haircut Harlots hard on the trail, eh?
And they’re calling that a "leading" national party? Some obscure post-frat gathering of hippies and burnouts?
Johnson truly is the rancid decaying jetsam at the bottom of the political cesspool.

The country is fall of such lawyers. And keeping a law license is about as hard as keeping a drivers license.

Why do I suddenly get the feeling we’re in the middle of "Papillon"?
I’ve got the butterfly tattoos but one of you is gonna have to store the stainless steel capsule with the diamonds up your butt.

I saw that this morning (the Corner ref’ing No Quarter) and started to write up a post on the subject, but ran out of time.
Of the various reaction I had was along the lines of your conclusion: i.e., how desperate are McCain supporters that they are going to Larry Summers and friends?

It’s finally happened.. the wing-nuts have crossed streams.
This is going to be bad.

Vie the folks at RumpRoast a newly released video of some behind the scenes video of the convention.

Where’s Michelle Malkin in all this? The circle is not complete until she weighs in. I *demand* a full investigation of the Obama family countertop situation.

They don’t even try to close Daou’s triangle any more, do they?

Hey John – speaking of rips in the time space continuum from crossing the streams, the good folks at Sadly, No! want to know if you can help de-wingnutize Kathleen Parker, who may be coming out of a Cheeto coma as we speak.
Her commenters at Crazy Town Hall are not pleased…
"How do you spell catty female columnist? Kathleen Parker"

Ummm, where is the New Party’s platform calling for secession from the union? I don’t see it.

@calipygian: This is a delicate time. The worst thing anyone can do is intervene. Let her come to the realization on her own, and let the wingnut abuse cement her resolve. You can only de-wingnutize yourself.

Doesn’t that kind of stuff result in defective children?

Go, go, go Johnny go!
Keep the crazy shit coming. It’s working.

@Steven Taylor:
In all fairness to the McCain campaign, they saw how well the No Quarter folks helped out the Clinton effort and figured they couldn’t go wrong.

Our Lady of Perpetual Outrage is too busy demostrating how poor Black people are conspiring to suppress your vote.
She needs more research – she is having some trouble using the "-izzle infix" in her witty headline.

I think Mika is channeling Palin on Gregory’s show right now.
If she winks at me I’m gonna shit.
"Coquetteish" comes to mind. To think I once liked her. A little bit.
Mandatory palate cleanser: Michelle Obama on King.

looks like Flowbee’s site has the same black-box-of-death that infects this site…

Well, Mika is actually a MILF.

Dan Riehl’s take is probably most ironic. He actually criticizes capitalism as he calls Obama a socialist. Dan is just an unclimbable mountain of stupid. Once you realize he agrees with you, it’s time to reevaluate your position.
Comrade Sock Puppet of the Great Satan
NoQuarter is alleging Obama "affiliated" (note use of the weasel word) with DSA (Democratic Socialists of America, also known as Doddering Socialists of America, which was founded by Michael Harrington and Irving Howe), because he picked up endorsements from them and the New Party.
Firstly, the [defunct] New Party and DSA aren’t the same thing: Noquarter is taking *reports* from a DSA member also involved in the New Party and making it out that they were the same thing.
Aside from that, the big news is the Obama attended panels on employment organized by DSA. This is unremarkable, really, as DSA is about as radical as the UK Labour Party, and is a sister organization of the German SDP and UK Labour Party.
DSA was pretty staunchly anti-communist, BTW, (though not as much as the Social Democrats USA): Irving Howe founded the journal Dissent, which was a major anti-communist voice on the left.
Just FYI, Jeanne Kirkpatrick and AEI scholar Joshua Muravchik were both members of the youth wing of (what later became) DSA.

Has NQ gone over to McCain completely? I know they were loony for Hillary from the comments here, but I don’t get that switch.

I’m still waiting for Larry Johnson to produce his "whitey" tape. Why that embarrassment didn’t drive him off the web, I’ll never know.

The Obama hatred is strong there. Yoda’s line of "once you set down that dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny" would seem to apply.

These asshats are like a nuclear bomb of stupidity. Get enough of them together and once critical mass is reached they go off in an intense blast of insane asshattery.
Works for me.

Yeah, I remember him. He, fogu2, gotalife, and marginal player were Clinton’s biggest "supporters" there. Weaver’s shtick was to bring up the "concerns" he had over the "unanswered" "questions" that "surrounded" Obama.
In retrospect, Weaver was probably the best troll of the four. It became obvious far sooner what the other three were up to. As I recall though, he was the first one of the four to bail out.

I agree, insofar as "best troll" is understood as the oxymoron it truly is. And you’re right on both points: MW seemed better able to package his GOP talking points in typical PUMA garb and, yes, if memory serves, he was one of the first to bail TPM once that gosh darned reality started to kick in. Fogu2 still pokes his/her/its ugly head into TPM threads now and again, I’m afraid to report, but far more rarely these days. Though an admitted partisan (w/r/t this particular race), I can’t but help relish the fact that there’s an inverse relationship governing McCain’s poll numbers and the respective appearance of said trolls on, e.g., TPM. They’re running scared. And with good reason.

THE PERFECT STORM FOR A DEPRESSION …
A far left Media …
A far left President …
A far left Congress …
A far left Senate …
A far left Supreme Court …
This would eliminate all the checks and
balances that our democracy is based upon.
Barack Obama formed his political and economic
ideology, and his radical associations, during the
TWENTY YEARS … yes, that’s TWENTY YEARS … when
he followed Marxist Black Liberation Theology, in
Jeremiah Wright’s anti-American, racist church.
And, now, with our country on the brink of depression,
Obama wants to impose new laws which would change
America into a third world country.
You may be upset with George Bush, but in spite
of Obama’s slogans, John McCain is NOT George Bush …
so don’t over react to Obama’s 600 million dollar
Propaganda campaign designed to highjack America !!!
A vote for Obama is a vote for changing America beyond
recognition … and, it would be a vote for voter fraud,
a corrupt media, socialism, and the end to America as we know it.
Keep America free, strong, safe, and American …
Elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.
