I’ll start. One of my nonprofit clients had a $50,000 contract cancelled last week – with work already in progress and expenses incurred. That’s not just money lost, that $50k that can’t be used to pay the salary of one employee.

Update: I hope that those of you on social media will share a link to this post. Let’s make it easier for everyone to understand the impact this is having on real people, even if they are not yet experiencing the impact personally.
