If you send your meetup request to the balloon juice meetups email address, any willing front pager can create the meetup event.
If you prefer to send your meetup request directly to a particular front pager – and they have indicated that they are agreeable to that – it might be best to include a cc: to the meetups address, to make sure all your bases are covered in case that particular person is unusually busy, away, or otherwise occupied.
