How there raffle works

  • Each raffle ticket is $25 – and raffle tickets are now on “sale”.
  • To “buy” a raffle ticket, make a donation to this thermometer.
  • Send EMAIL to WaterGirl letting her know how many tickets you “bought”.
  • Include your nym in your email to WaterGirl

One ticket is $25, two tickets $50, and so on.

First prize winner gets their pick of Prizes!   Second prize winner picks between the remaining two.

Prizes are numbered in order of dollar value if you were able to purchase these.

1st Prize

I am waiting on the exact size of the quilt, but I am guessing that it’s 72″ x 72″.

This quilt is 78″ x 84″.

    In case you missed yesterday’s post, we have one quilt for Raffle, another quilt for Auction, and a $30,000 external match for an outright fundraiser.

    The raffle starts today. Raffle tickets are available until evening on Saturday.

    The Auction event will be from noon to 7pm (blog time) on Sunday.

    The fundraising for the $30k external match will begin once the raffle and auction are both complete.

    So glad this is going well!

    I walked into the house this morning and heard what I could only guess was one of my furry guys throwing up.  As I walked through the house I heard the gurgling and walked into the (empty) bathroom in the otherwise empty house and saw the dreaded bubbling in the toilet.

    Which means only one thing.  Call the sewer clean-out people, stat!   They were able to come out within the hour, and all is well again.

    Spared the toilet overflowing routine, which is what happens when you ignore the gurgling and bubbling.  That’s a lesson you only need to learn once, and thankfully that was a couple of decades ago.
