Hey hey, RFK, how many kids did you kill today?

Reality always lies in wait for … Democrats.

Every decision we make has lots of baggage with it, known or unknown.

These days, even the boring Republicans are nuts.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

If you thought you’d already seen people saying the stupidest things possible on the internet, prepare yourselves.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

Havens of Fluorescent Idiocy

This post is in: Democratic Stupidity

Charles Rangel has now officially lost his mind:

The U.S. acted illegally when its soldiers attacked and killed Uday and Qusay Hussein, a leading Democratic congressman complained on Tuesday, before mocking the military maneuver that succeeded in eliminating the brutal duo.

“We have a law on the books that the United States should not be assassinating anybody,” Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-NY, told Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes.”

My head hurts. Two Words: Democrat Meltdown.

“Charles Rangel has now officially lost his mind”

That ship sailed a long time ago, John. This is the guy who compared tax cuts to the activities of the KKK, and who has been pushing a draft as a means of sabotaging the US military. He’s a race huckster–an outright racist, IMO–and a wicked fool. He’s right up there with Maxine Waters as the worst that Congress has to offer.

I had just posted a comment on Samizdata wondering how long before the US is accused of operating a shoot to kill policy, when I discovered I was way too late. However I didn’t think the first shot would come from an American public representative.

    Umm, John:

    “Fluorescent”, not “Flourescent”.

Unless you’re trying to make a case that their idiocy is not glowing, but rather is ready to be deep-fried.

Jay Nordlinger at National Review points out today that Cholly Rangel was at the NY funeral of the recently deceased salsa queen, Celia Cruz.

Cruz was an expat Afro-Cuban, who hated Castro and was active in Cuban expat anti-Castro activities.

As Rangel is Castro’s number 1 legislative branch defender in the U.S., one wonders at Rangel’s (a) infallible ignorance; or alternately (b) his brass cojones.

    I’m voting for number “a”
