I’ve been putting together calendars every year since 2013. This was put together in 2019, before Covid hit.

January
Bald Eagle in an oak tree next to the Mississippi, near the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN

February
Pileated Woodpecker on the maple tree in our yard.

March
Green Banded Swallowtail.
We went to see a collection of tropical butterflies in Stainz, Austria. We could wander through the exhibition hall, surrounded by butterflies. I don’t have any more information about this one, so I googled it and I could buy one, live, from Amazon or ebay….. Wow. Still no info where it lives in the wild.

April
Still in Austria, this Peacock lives on the grounds or Schloss Eggenberg in Graz, Austria.

May
Cape May Warbler, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, Wisconsin

June
Great Spangled Fritillary Butterflies and Golden Crab Spider, Perrot State Park, Wisconsin.

July
Painted Lady Butterfly, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, WI.

August
Halloween Pennant Dragonfly, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, WI.

September
Flower Fly, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge, WI.

December
Pablo on the dining room table.

What happened to October and November?
