Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Finding joy where we can, and muddling through where we can’t.

… riddled with inexplicable and elementary errors of law and fact

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

The republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

if you can’t see it, then you are useless in the fight to stop it.

Republicans in disarray!

Red lights blinking on democracy’s dashboard

Everybody saw this coming.

This country desperately needs a functioning fourth estate.

“I was told there would be no fact checking.”

Radicalized white males who support Trump are pitching a tent in the abyss.

Come on, man.

Fight for a just cause, love your fellow man, live a good life.

It is not hopeless, and we are not helpless.

Motto for the House: Flip 5 and lose none.

Hi god, it’s us. Thanks a heap, you’re having a great week and it’s only Thursday!

Let me eat cake. The rest of you could stand to lose some weight, frankly.

Wow, you are pre-disappointed. How surprising.

Every one of the “Roberts Six” lied to get on the court.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

Shallow, uninformed, and lacking identity

Decision time: keep arguing about the last election, or try to win the next one?

Text STOP to opt out of updates on war plans.

Trumpflation is an intolerable hardship for every American, and it’s Trump’s fault.

Via Glenn, Susie Madrak is having some temporary financial troubles, so if you have a few bucks to spare, go help her out, please. You can donate here.

Also, it is the end of the month, so now would be a good time to chuck some cash to Obama, who will need it to fight the never-ending smears.

Goal Thermometer

If you can spare the money, that would be great.

I’m assuming this plant then raped a Duke Lacrosse player, before calling his buddy Nifong and hiring a stripper.

I know you are just trolling, and maybe I am being naive, but I can’t imagine how this is a big deal. Isn’t the agenda and strategy of the gun control lobby pretty obvious by now?

Suburban Guerrilla? The lady who dished crap about Obama through the primaries? The one who gleefully quoted racist crap from “riverdaughter” and linked to corrente? The one who deleted comments that corrected her lies?

    Forgive and forget.

Plus, I just feel bad for anyone having enough trouble with their finances that they have to beg for money to pay for health care.

Those are pretty good shirts. My brother-in-law owns a silk-screen shop. If I were more of a bastard and a bit more well off, I’d do some sabotage work just like that.

Speaking of t-shirts, I just saw a humorous TV commercial for a local BBQ restaurant and the woman (the momma — that’s how she was identified) in the commercial was wearing a Barack Obama t-shirt. Never seen anything that before.

Congrats, this is by far the most coherent thing you’ve ever posted here. Only one gross spelling error. Some rather inconsequential grammar issues.

*shrug* I’d never heard of the woman, but I know what it’s like to live without healthcare (or to live as I do now without being able to take a day off to go to the doctor – it’s the same difference).

You shouldn’t have to beg for what you need to survive. Regardless of her stances, I gave anyway.

The Feds just busted a diploma mill operating out of the Spokane, WA area. The local paper acquired and published the customer list. My favorite:

Duwayne Huss, an employee of Nuclear Management Co., operator of two nuclear plants in Minnesota, bought degrees in nuclear engineering and accounting.

    Yikes.

America, where paper is cheap and lives are even cheaper.

Last night, the wife and I decided to head to Coos Bay for a couple of days of fun and to see a comic at the casino here. Nice ride on the motorcycle, but we could have done without the rain for the last 50 miles. It is nice and sunny today, so we are heading out for a ride inland through Coquille and Myrtle Point just to do some sightseeing.

Later people, time to go have fun! :D
