Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Republicans firmly believe having an abortion is a very personal, very private decision between a woman and J.D. Vance.

Anne Laurie is a fucking hero in so many ways. ~ Betty Cracker

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

The world has changed, and neither one recognizes it.

Republicans cannot even be trusted with their own money.

DeSantis transforming Florida into 1930s Germany with gators and theme parks.

Prediction: the gop will rethink its strategy of boycotting future committees.

Stand up, dammit!

My years-long effort to drive family and friends away has really paid off this year.

When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. ~Thomas Jefferson

After dobbs, women are no longer free.

Humiliatingly small and eclipsed by the derision of millions.

I have other things to bitch about but those will have to wait.

Speaker Mike Johnson is a vile traitor to the House and the Constitution.

Technically true, but collectively nonsense

Cancel the cowardly Times and Post and set up an equivalent monthly donation to ProPublica.

If you don’t believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love isn’t freedom, it is privilege.

I desperately hope that, yet again, i am wrong.

Impressively dumb. Congratulations.

A tremendous foreign policy asset… to all of our adversaries.

Yeah, with this crowd one never knows.

You come for women, you’re gonna get your ass kicked.

You passed on an opportunity to be offended? What are you even doing here?

Fear or fury? The choice is ours.

Freedom From Criticism

Mean Mr. Mustard explains a thing or two to Susan Sarandon:

Once again, all together now, so all of Hollywood can hear: Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from criticism. You can talk all you want to Susan, but keep in mind, your continued offering of pathetic little platitudes that equate the deliberate killing of thousands of innocents with the careful efforts to hunt down and destroy their killers will likely mean getting branded with words a lot worse than “anti-American.”

“Brain-dead twit,” comes to mind, for example.

Go read the whole thing.

Ms. Sarandon’s new movie must be such a turkey that she is desperate for publicity.

I notice that Tim Robbins, her significant other and noted son of 1960s’ militant, long haired, hippy, pinko freaks (and activist in his own right), hasn’t had too much to say. He must not have a movie out that needs pumping up.

I must say that she is getting very close to being a prime candidate for the “Jane Fonda’s War Protestor Award.” All that is required is a trip to Baghdad during a bombing halt and man an anti-aircraft gun mount as a photo-op.

I wonder if we could get a hit this time before she has a chance to run away like Ms. Fonda did from Hanoi when she was dared, by the F-111 wing Commander at Takhli, Thailand, to stay and man the same gun? She, Fonda, obviously couldn’t stand the heat and ran like the coward she is. I wonder how Ms. Sarandon would stand up under the same pressure?

BTW: That gun was taken out the night following the dare. The Wing Commander, himself, dropped a 500 pounder on it. (This, in Air Force parlance, is known as a “shack.”)
