As John posted last night, we’re going to turn this into a one post CoverItLive blog at 7 PM Eastern tonight until whenever. I’ve already added four brave souls who have volunteered to moderate comments. If you’re interested in helping out, email me and I’ll set you up.
If you are a reader here and aren’t sure about how to vote, first, you are a unicorn, and second here is Google’s tool that shows you what’s on the ballot and where to vote.

I can’t imagine that you would need that many people moderating comments tonight. Tiny Troll will be too busy weeping into his pillow and the kitchen tool could be marginally entertaining as he tries to tell us how we are all really evil human beings.

Good sign for Obama #435:The Unskewed Polls nitwits, after leaning on the numbers as hard as they possibly could, are only predicting 275 EVs for Romney.

Let me fix that for you:
you are a
unicorn, and second here is Google’stoolSouthern Beale
I’ve already voted but I entered my address in that Google tool just to see if it worked? I got this:
Ah, well.

@Southern Beale: must be handled by folks over at the Jeff Flake for Senator outfit.
Central Planning
The google tool failed for locating my election place in Pittsford. But, it did redirect me to the NYS board of elections website (which never completed). Monroe County Board of Elections website worked fine as long as you put your street name in all caps. In 2012, you’d think we’d be smart enough to realize that “main st” and “MAIN ST” are the same thing.

@Schlemizel:
I think you’re making the flawed assumption that only our long-term resident trolls will show up. I’m guessing that a lot of disappointed conservatives will decide that trolling liberals is the best way of making liberals enjoy their victory less. Since doing whatever pisses off the liberals is their highest priority, we’ll get a lot of it.
ETA: Also, too, I’m disappointed with Google’s tool. It described our ballot initiatives as “referenda”, which is incorrect. California distinguishes between an initiative (which enacts something new) and referendum (which tries to overturn an existing law). Most of our Propositions are initiatives; only Prop 40 is a referendum. Get it right, Google!

I tried the Google tool and they had my address correct and all the other information for my district too.
This morning I got a robocall (voiced by Rudy Guiliani) for some Republican (something Howard) for congress in another district. I hung up the call. Sorry, guys, besides getting the district wrong, I basically like Joe Crowley and will continue to return him to Congress.
I had NY1 on earlier and was hearing about problems in various areas with polling places (heat, light, and fuel for generators) and not having voting machines. Sounds like NYS’s Board of Election didn’t plan very well for logistics after Sandy.

ETA: And this.

Just returned from voting — a two minute walk across the small playground, maybe five minutes voting (because I use a cane, a lady didn’t make me wait on line) and I was out. I stopped by the grocery store and they are finally getting deliveries of bread. Not a lot of bread but some.
Someone put a yellow sticky up by the elevators that had written on it: Defend freedom, defeat Obama… Vote. I took it down, of course.

I’m not a unicorn. I’m a quadracorn. Even though Mitt Romney promised me 200 virgin ponies, I voted for Obama.
