    When I had my triple bypass, my caregivers and those who were in the room when I came to, signed mine. Since then, my thoracic surgeon has died of cancer, my cardiologist retired to his native Österreich, and one of the witnesses is awaiting execution. The spousal unit, or at least somebody with access to her cellphone number, remains with us.

    But it’s great to see Cole père doing well. I think I was in the hospital a couple of days longer. But now the best thing he can do, other than walking, are exercises with the invective spirometer. And DO NOT DRIVE UNTIL CLEARED TO DO SO. Trust me on this.

    Yutsano is in the hospital finally getting some help for his body’s decision to fall down and lay there till someone picked him up.
    Sounds like his demeanor has improved a bit.
    Healthcare will do that to a person.
