So The Lakers lost. I really don’t care much about basketball, but I must admit I am more inclined to watch the finals now that Dallas or Sacramento might be in the big game. The only reason I am even remotely upset the Lakers lost is because I know how much they mean to a certain Reno resident. Go visit him and hit his tip jar to cheer him up (and ask him what grievous sin we must have committed for him to drop us from his blogroll).

Superbowl Prediction: Raiders Win

Raiders win, 37-17.
And here is why I am rooting for the Raiders:
Jerry Porter, West Virginia University. An old fling used to live next door to him, so I got to know him, and I spent a number of nights knocking back beers with him at a local bar. I hope he is MVP.
