Jason Kidd beats his wife, and nothing really happens.
Bob Ryan- one of the best sports reporters ever, IMHO- states that he would like to smack Joumana Kidd for being obnoxious, and he is in danger of losing his career.
I wonder which one of the two will hurt Joumana- Jason’s fists or Ryan’s words.
I wonder what the Dixie Chicks, Tim Robbins, and all the other censorship victims will have to say about the plight of Bob Ryan.

Suspended without pay? I am taking for granted that he knows this lady well enough and feels she needs ‘straightening out’ and that he simply used the wrong vehicle to make his point.
Suspended without pay? No, but I do think it is statements like this which grease the slope. It’s the new ‘conservative’ society.
Tell me, do you think there is a difference in between advocating violence and advocating a differing political opinion? Just wondering.
Hey, since hypocrisy seems to be the subject, what do you think about this? It should be called “The Grandest Hypocrisy of Them All.”

Or is this one those stories documented over and over you can’t believe because of that affliction, “Bill’s Zipper Blindness?”
Slow loading. Any REAL Christians out there?

or here, check out the guy who George H.W. Bush calls the “man with the vision,” the family values guy.

Hypocrisy, hahaha

“All these people should know better,” said Cynthia Lilley, founder of Mothers Opposed to Moon, a group of parents whose children have been recruited into the Unification Church. “My daughter would tell me over and over how in their recruiting films, they would show Moon with Bush to impress young people. They use the films of Moon and Bush and other celebrities to reassure parents that it’s okay that their children are on the streets selling flowers 18 hours a day.”
here ya go, this photo and article pretty much sum up what the right is all about…

Wow- skip the meds this morning?
If you think jokingly stating that you want to slap someone is ‘advocating violence,’ you are probably in favor of confiscating nail clippers atairports and expelling students from grade schools for carrying them. In other words, an idiot.
I will save everyone the trouble- all the links he posted have nothing to do with Bob Ryan.
Dal
Well lets see, I can tell I have found the spin zone.
From someone saying that a women should be hit, to nail clippers. my my…
The wingnut two step, one call them crazy then find a way to hide from the information made avaiable…Save the trouble close the mind…
What;s wrong with the broader subject of hypocrisy. Now, take all those links down before the house of cards crumbles…or better yet, I am sure Wes Pruden will tell you not to worry. He tell the rest of your political opinions, why not?
How about a comment on what’s in the links? Why are people on the right afraid? You’re gonna have to face it sooner or later.
You can call me crazy, I could be true, I could be an evil socialist, I could be Fidel Castro and it won’t change the truth in those links. You gonna ignore it? Yep, you are. Your a conservative, God is on your side. You do no wrong.
what are you afraid of…can’t look in the mirror?
John Cole
Groan. I’ll leave the links up so everyone can laugh at you as I did.
You really are entertaining.
sal
“You really are entertaining.”
I mean really, hasn’t this spiced things up a bit. Hell, I even have the liberals mad at me here…
thanks, just give them a chance. There are many sources and the whole country needs to see this, NO media right or left will talk about it.
One thing is for sure, without his billions spent bolstering the conservative veiwpoint the last twenyu years, Bush wouldn’t be president. I am waiting to see the celebration when conservatives honor the man who made it happen for them.
Thanks again, you have done your readers a service.

I’ve read some of Sal’s posts on other topics. They all come back eventually to Moon.
You know the definition of a fanatic: someone who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.
salarooney
Call them crazy, you can ignore what they say. Call them liberal, you can ignore what they say. Call them unpatriotic, you can ignore what they say.
Brandon, my time here is likely short. This is your chance to get it, hide if you wish.
Sal
Got to go, I am margerita detail…thanks again for giving your readers the chance. I find everyone feels they should be aware of the subject so they can decide for themselves what to think. Hey, so your party sold the country down the river, you defeated the evil lieberals, that was the plan, wasn’t it?
If you’re in your thirties and not familiar, check this info out, then, if you are lucky enough to have your Mom and Dad, ask them what they remember about the conservative movements sugar daddy.
And look on the bright side, you know how Birchers hate the UN, well, here’s one lieberal who will look at that poor institutiion differently from here on…BTW, this says Moon will die and will be well, kinda, gone…that isn’t true.

I posted on this, as well, but I’ll only add that a little more than “nothing much” happened to Kidd. Phoenix shipped him out post haste, straight up for Stephon Marbury, as soon as a deal could be made.
Now, Marbury is one of the best young talents in the league and an all-star, but no one in the NBA believes that Colangelo made that trade for ‘talent’ purposes….
Jason Kidd is a perrenial MVP candidate who was traded straight up for a shoot-first/pass-second superstar.
Don’t get the wrong impression, I’m not disagreeing with you. :)
