If you tweet it in all caps, that makes it true!

The arc of the moral universe does not bend itself. it is up to us to bend it.

My right to basic bodily autonomy is not on the table. that’s the new deal.

The desire to stay informed is directly at odds with the need to not be constantly enraged.

When you’re in more danger from the IDF than from Russian shelling, that’s really bad.

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires Republicans to act in good faith.

Republicans want to make it harder to vote and easier for them to cheat.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires.

The republican caucus is covering themselves with something, and it is not glory.

This chaos was totally avoidable.

Democracy cannot function without a free press.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

Watching Richard Clarke during the televised hearings, I came away with the opinion that he is one arrogant, egotistical self-serving individual, and now one whose credibility is seriously in question. I agree, he “sexes up” events to serve his purpose, which looks to me like an attempt to bring down George Bush and those under him that didn’t recognize what Clarke sees in himself as “talent,” that he was overlooked for possible higher levels of responsibility and was left out of the loop that he’d have preferred to operate in.

In his previous years with the Clinton administration, what did he accomplish? So now, after a few months with Bush, it’s payback time… write a book, stretch the facts, mouth words as truth that aren’t backed necessarily up by facts. It seems anymore, “facts” are merely words that are the most comfortable for the user, regardless of veracity.

I may be wrong, but I’m not a wet-behind-the-ears child. I’ve witnessed a lot of people in action over my three-score plus years on this planet and he comes off to me as one big fuckin’ phoney with an agenda. John Dean he ain’t.

Didn’t Clarke, under testimony, reveal all we need to know when he admitted to being a spinner? Doesn’t anyone with a logical mind then question what he’s spinning now (and for whom)?

Is Clarke’s 15 minutes over, yet? Anyone with one neuron firing knows that 60 minutes is ideological bovine excrement.

Election year politcs. I think in the long run Clarke will “outed” for what he is: political hack.

If Senate majority leader Frist gets his way, Clarke, the “last great white hope” of the Democrats, may get his his just-dues… publishing lies in a book v. actually telling them in front of a Senate Committee are two different things.

The ego is such a wonderful thing to watch in action.
