Watching A Train Wreck

I just watched Courtney Love on Comedy Central’s Friars Roast of Pamela anderson, and she was a a train wreck.

This Roast was, by far, the filthiest thing I have ever seen on television, and I hope Brent Bozell is in bed.

For that matter, I wish I was in bed, as the insomnia reaches day 5 or 6.

I watched up until the point Courtney declared herself, along with Pam, the best lay in the world. Or something. I don’t know, attempting to understand her wasted/stoned/fried babbling wasn’t worth 10% of my attention.

This has been on the gossip blogs all weekend. It is a Pamela Anderson roast, so decorum never had a chance to enter the building. Oh, and why would Pamela dress like Minnie Mouse on the strip?

Pamela Anderson was, believe it or not, once an attractive woman. The small fortune she’s spent on various surgeries and tattoos haven’t been an improvement, from my point of view.

She used to be very pretty, before the plastic surgery got out of control. All the tanning has not helped her skin age well, either. Sad.

As a bleeding knuckle liberal I suppose I should take up the debate with you about watching “Roasts”, or making comments about other people…

As for the insomnia, try and remember that 95% of the world’s population cannot pick up on the nuances of any issue, much less well reasoned argument, and even less so if it comes from an avowed political opponent whom one has already projected the worst assumptions to from reading someone else. Perhaps that’s why Instapundit doesn’t write much anymore, and why many blogs no longer carry comments.

In the interests of bi-partisanship however, I hereby offer you posting priviledges on my blog so that you may express your opinions without the distraction of answering clueless responses to your posts. Due to the low volume, however, you will also have to endure not responding to those that have merit as well. Alas, compromise carries a price.

Sorry to ask, but when is Courtney Love NOT a trainwreck?

I’m sorry you aren’t sleeping well John. I hope you find a solution to the problem. I hadn’t been sleeping well either for several months now either; but that recently changed. It came about after I took on a new position with my employer which forced me to make some lifestyle changes (less fat in my diet mostly and the fact that I actually get two days off a week now helps greatly as well… I hadn’t had a day off in over 100 days).

Jesus, I’m a liberal and I could only take 10 minutes of that garbage…which leads me to this theory: it’s conservatives who suck up this swill, and then they join the Brent Bozell brigade in a fit of “stop me before I do it again” remorse.

Good point! I didn’t watch it all, I knew it would be a trainwreck and I can’t stand that type of stuff. I never liked that kind of stuff though, I like the History Channel, and Discovery, and Sci-Fi.

Whoops! Sorry for my typo, I meant to say:

    I didn’t watch it AT all…
