Sorry for the light posting, but what with the benadryl and all, I am lacking energy. At any rate, if you are a Steelers fan (and I say if, even though for me it is inconceivable that anyone root for another team), you have got to get the Pittsburgh Steelers: The Complete History. I just finished the glory days of the 70’s, and still have the 80’s to date to watch.
Truly excellent DVD. Oh, and GO STEELERS!
*** Update ***
Funny how the memories came flashing back when watching from 1979 to present ( I was 9 when we beat the Rams, but I still remember watching it with my folks). But the memories- I forgot how amazing Louis Lipps was, how mean Greg Lloyd, how FAST Kordell Stweart was, how dominating Bettis was in his prime (and still can be), how devastating it was when watch Levon Kirkland hit someone, how it felt like the world had ended when Rod tore his ACL, how much 3 more yards can be, and so on.

Inconceivable? Really? Hey John, you find out what kind of bug it was?

I dunno how much of the 1980s I could watch. I mean, I don’t need to relive Mark Malone throwing two interceptions to one-armed Clay Matthews; it sucked enough the first time. And the less said about the Cliff Stoudt era the better.

SeesThroughIt,
I would watch the ’80s just for the Louis Lipps highlights alone.
Just fast forward through Mark Malone so you can get to the Bubby Brister era – which also hails the introduction of a young Rod Woodson to the secondary.
/I am so buying this DVD – thanks John.

I can’t imagine a meaner linebacker than Lloyd. I loved watching him play.
Otto Man
They should have a whole DVD devoted to Jack Lambert.

As a Dolphins fan it pains me to say this but….Lloyd may be my favorite player of all time. It’s not only how mean and good he was, but it was his whole attitude and persona and the way he made everyone else on those teams play better, just by his presence.
Sorry, Dan. You’re still a close second.

Mike Renfro had both feet in. Robbery!
