    I love Wonkette dearly, but on a number of occasions they’ve slowed down loading, crashed Shockwave Flash across all open tabs, or on rare occasion crashed a browser entirely (my predilection for having so many tabs open at once probably contributed to the latter).

    Faster here w/ Firefox, much faster. Wonkette always opens a second ad window for me, despite the popup blocker, and freezes a lot. Love them to death but my god, what an abomination of a website.

    OK, great. The great BJ blog slowness problem is off my mind. I’m going to spend a few minutes working my Grand Unified Theory of Trump, and then go out and do social activities in non-virtual reality, assuming I can stay away from head games in the meat space.

    The site usually loaded without a noticeable delay, until a week or 10 days ago (Firefox and Safari on MacBook Pro). Now (on Safari) it loads immediately.

    I’ll miss the Wonkette headlines, but since I visit the site regularly anyway, it’s not that much of a loss.

    Huge, so far. Using Chrome, too, which makes it unbelievable. For months, even years, every Balloon Juice visit has basically shut me down and I’d largely given up though I love the site dearly. Hope this lasts!

    My Internet life has gotten immeasurably better since I disabled Flash in my browser. Flash is a fucking nuisance.

    I just read that Amazon will stop accepting Flash-based ads. Hopefully this will start a trend.
