Alex Jones — whose name is practically synonymous with “9/11 Truther” — is known for being one beer short of a six-pack, so it’s unsurprising that he thinks the Aurora shooting was planned by Obama.

Strap on your tinfoil hats, people, and keep your arms and legs in the vessel at all times.

We’re taking a trip to Crazytown, population: Alex Jones.

What’s the story with all these must-click-through posts from ABL? I think I missed the origin. I almost never click through just to find out what a blurb is talking about, so I’ve basically stopped reading ABL’s posts.

Obligatory request that the “crazy” labels be taken out of use. Words like that perpetuate stigma against people with actual brain disorders. On a related note, how did I miss this? It’s really quite unusual for NAMI to make a statement about politics. I mean, WTF? This needs to be widely reported – the Lt. Gov of VA insults not only all supporters of the President, but a huge population of people with chronic illnesses.

Alex Jones, do you hear my voice?

    Listen to me very carefully.

Walk into your kitchen, turn on the blender and press the FRAPP button. Now. stick your hand in the blender.

    Are we good so far?

Now, provided this is a wireless blender, keep the blender running with your hand arm still inserted and walk to the nursery, and with the other hand, hack your baby up with a cleaver.

Done with step two yet? Yes? O.K., we have more to go, so keep listening.

Still carrying the running blender on the end of the one arm. pick as many pieces of your hacked-up baby with the other, and find the nearest and highest overlook.

My position is that the NRA and Gun Owners of America have been running a fast and furious operation in the United States since roughly the Reagan Administration and it is finally bearing fruit.

Of course, the Denver shooter’s (just a few miles from me) political biases, such as they were, may turn out to be in the vein of bipartisanship and that of an independent voter, given the paranoia from both ends of the spectrum:

No offense meant, but I’ve seen what trolling for revenue-enhancing eyeballs and clicks does to content quality. One of the things I like best about Balloon Juice is that the posters have not been trying to make a living off it, instead writing when the spirit moves them.

I’m sorry you’ve chosen this path. Especially at a time when CPM and CPC numbers continue to decline with no floor in sight; it’s a terrible time to be starting an ad-supported content business. Last I checked in at Alex Jones’ House o’ Crazy, within hours of the JT Ready murder-suicide in Arizona Jones was claiming it was a government wet job to cover up something or other.

Rather than, you know, some neo-Nazi scumbag loser who couldn’t hold a day job who went nuts and offed a family and then himself because he was getting kicked out of the house.

nope, that couldn’t be it. Better to put one’s faith in a conspiracy theory without any empirical evidence whatsoever, other than the voices in your head.

Ever try to argue with a conspiracy nutter? Don’t bother unless you are in the mood to just fuck with someone to the point they completely lose their shit. Conspiracy nutters do NOT like being told they are fucking nutters who are out of touch with objective reality.
