Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

This blog will pay for itself.

Hot air and ill-informed banter

Since we are repeating ourselves, let me just say fuck that.

They think we are photo bombing their nice little lives.

Shallow, uninformed, and lacking identity

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

This is dead girl, live boy, a goat, two wetsuits and a dildo territory.  oh, and pink furry handcuffs.

Their freedom requires your slavery.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Impressively dumb. Congratulations.

You passed on an opportunity to be offended? What are you even doing here?

There is no compromise when it comes to body autonomy. You either have it or you do not.

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

He really is that stupid.

Republican speaker of the house Mike Johnson is the bland and smiling face of evil.

The National Guard is not Batman.

Let’s not be the monsters we hate.

When you’re in more danger from the IDF than from Russian shelling, that’s really bad.

“The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.”

If you don’t believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love isn’t freedom, it is privilege.

Hey Washington Post, “Democracy Dies in Darkness” was supposed to be a warning, not a mission statement.

If you tweet it in all caps, that makes it true!

It appears that J.C. Watts

It appears that J.C. Watts is stepping down and not running again. I always enjoyed him, but it seemed to me he was becoming increasingly strident in recent years.

One amusing note- CNN was not content to believe Watts when he said he was leaving to spend more time with his family. They reported that he was leaving for three reasons:

1.) Upset about not being able to advance in the leadership.

Which is patently absurd, since he was the number four man after eight years.

2.) Upset about the Crusader artilery program being cancelled.

And yes- CNN misspelled artillery on the teleprompter- later on they called him a “conservtive.” Not to mention the assertion is absurd. Idiots.

3.) Wants to spend more time with his family.

I guess after 8 years of Clinton, we just can not take anyone at their word. New possible motto for CNN: “The Conjecture Now Network.”

I am back home in Morgantown, and let me tell you, it sure is nice to be sleeping my own bed. It is also nice to have a desktop computer with a fat 21 inch monitor, rather than that dinky little laptop. And cable modem. How did we ever survive with 28.8 and 56k modems?

Posting is light because I am still out of town on a crappy 28k modem through aol, and because this laptop does not like blogger for whatever reason.

One thing that I did note today while trying to read all the news- a pop up add that almost got me to click on it. The ad was from contentwatch, and it asked in big bold letters:

PORN ON YOUR COMPUTER?

At first I thought it was an offer for some, then I realized it was just going to scan for already existing porn. I then thought, what the heck, maybe I have misplaced some and I can consolidate it. I didn’t, though, cuz I hate spammers.

This post ought to get Kevin H. at Ideas riled up. Hehe. Just kidding, Kevin.

Why I like George Bush

Ari Fleischer just commented on the Court ruling that the Declaration is unconstitutional. Fleischer stated that Bush said the ruling was ‘ridiculous.’

No kidding. It is refreshing to have someone who says it like it is.
