Ordinarily I would agree with you, but since I’m a Miami Dolphin fan I think I’ll just go hide my head under a pillow instead. Can someone wake me up in January?

Oh, man. You poor dear. I feel your pain.

I admire your optimism, John. Perhaps I’m spoiled by the knowledge that the Mighty Belichik heads up my beloved Patriots, but I just can’t see how Steelers fans sleep easily knowing that Bill Cowher is responsible for coaching their team to glory. :)

As a Dolphin fan as well my hopes are pretty much gone. However, I’ll root for the Steelers. And really, stuck here in Norway where we only get one game a week gives you an appreciation for getting to see any football at all.

I hold hope for the Steelers this year….if only to solidify a base forthe future.
I’m not expecting a championship this year, although I feel they will do better…..possible injuries aside and all.
The OL is “healed”…should perform better. Plex and Hines(their recent whining aside) will play well I believe….if only it is the big payday they are playing for.
Duece….with the “healed” OL should put up decent enough numbers to take the heat off of Tommy and hopefully, this in turn, will allow Tommy to return a bit to his COmback Player of the Year performance.
The young DBs might come to bite us….and the lack of depth(due to injuries) at usually our strong point, LB, could pose a problem too…..but I, again, think the D will be better than last year….and with such a young core of Dbs..prepare them for the run with Big Ben in the years to come.
But…a good season will go a long way to setting the stage for the future….Big Ben….and hopefully…one for the thumb.
