Got home after teaching my night class, and the ‘Eers were already up 14-0 against the Bearcats. Tam is really starting to gel, and it is 21-0 now.
All of this brings to mind the fact that in acouple of weeks you are all going to get to see me and Tim blogbattle as Pitt and WVU play.
Should be entertaining.
*** Update ***
Final score is 38-0.

That’s two Thursday night blowouts in a row.
It is like playing the MAC or Conf USA.
Maybe UConn and Cincy will grow up (Bearcats did beat WVU 15-13 a couple of years ago. I sat in the rain all day)

I believe the WVU/South Florida game was postponed due to Hurricane Rita, but until they play WVU, South Florida really doesn’t have any tough games.
You just know the BCS is crapping their pants at the idea of South Florida in a BCS game, which they’ll be in as Big East champ if they win their next two, then beat WVU. And hey, anything that makes a mockery of the BCS, I’ll all for.
Although South Florida winning the Big East would do wonders for Penn State’s strength of schedule, so it’s not all bad.

WVU is having a nice season… watched some of the game and you guys have good team. However, (not to be an obnoxious Texan) you are all playing for second place as my ‘Horns will smack down USC in the Rose. College football is, by far, the best sport out there.

Wrong, I like a sport that knows how to crown a true champion. Like NCAA basketball. That God basketball season has started. Although, I used to find college football incredibly boring. However, having lived on campus and gone to all of the games, I do enjoy it considerably more than I used to. But IU is a still a basketball college, and I’m still a basketball guy. Go Hoosiers!

Ugh. I’m an unfortunate transplant from a football school (usually…Go Vols!) to basketball country. Ugh.

Joey,
College hoops is great… but I’m sick of the 1 or 2 years and out for most players. It has ruined CBB and Pro hoops. At 19, kids are just getting good in college but will suck in the pros.
