Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Proof that we need a blogger ethics panel.

The willow is too close to the house.

No one could have predicted…

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

Republicans: slavery is when you own me. freedom is when I own you.

I was promised a recession.

American History and Black History Cannot Be Separated

Just because you believe it, that doesn’t make it true.

Putin must be throwing ketchup at the walls.

Good lord, these people are nuts.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

There are consequences to being an arrogant, sullen prick.

Republicans seem to think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before.

“Squeaker” McCarthy

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

A consequence of cucumbers

I’d try pessimism, but it probably wouldn’t work.

Perhaps you mistook them for somebody who gives a damn.

Russian mouthpiece, go fuck yourself.

Battle won, war still ongoing.

I’m pretty sure there’s only one Jack Smith.

Ah, the different things are different argument.

Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.

Let there be snark.

Our tech goddess, Sekimori, has fixed the black screen of death that was messing up the comments (with an assist from a helpful commenter). As such, a celebratory picture:

We are now functioning at full capacity and bug free.

So what was it? Us techies really get off on knowing that kind of stuff.

That’s why I can’t be a Republican. I have to know facts behind what’s going on and what makes things tick – other than blindly accepting that "God did it".

I suspect that it’s the CSS, not least of all because it shows up in IE, and not in FF or Chrome. That suggests a browser with poor CSS and/or Javascript handling, which comes close to being the operational definition of IE.
