Lovely, hats off to all the photogs.
Joe K.
Looking at “Boats on Lake George” upside down is a truly surreal experience.

Gonna have to try some of these newfangled black n white pictures. Blink and progress will pass you right by.

My own pet rescue story is now available here.

@Johnny Pez: That’s a lovely if bittersweet story. And the pics are great.

Stunning. Simply stunning. Nothing more to say.

Here is where Hilzoy became confused by the Liberal Arts: (it should be noted that this statement was made six weeks before the power structure crashed the economy):
Quote.
bedtimeforbonzo I’ve probably watched too much TV today but here:
“But so far, all we’ve been hearing about is Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. I do have to ask my opponent, is that the best you can come up with? Is that really what this election’s about? Is that what is worthy of the American people?”
One possible translation: ‘Is that what is worthy of me?’
McCain spent long periods of time on deployment with not much to do. One game some learn during these times is finding personality tweeks among others, and if deemed appropriate, to learn to pick at these tweeks. Monkey Butler.
If McCain was one of those, he will subtly use imagery of Paris and Britney in future ads. Very subtle. It would accelerate the JNM.
Unquote. Banished with the words ‘Bye Bill’.
Hilzoy’s response to my appeal:
‘Ghost: Acknowledged. My mind is unchanged.’
While this is technically correct, the statement could more accurately be stated: ‘My mind is unchallenged.’ This is why the Teabaggers will prevail. They have minds of zeal. As a final exercise, compare the intellectual heavyweights of the modern Left:
‘My mind is unchanged’ = ‘I can’t see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin and I will keep them out somehow — even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!’

Beautiful pics.

@Brick Oven Bill:
This is going to be a long seven more years of the Obama Era, Bill.
For us, having to listen to you run out of material every week.
Occurs to me that brick ovens are not that great a hobby. I mean, once you build it and burn a couple of pizzas, what do you do next?
I think your brain needs new stimulation. Either that or you just need to get laid.
Yutsano
@AngusTheGodOfMeat: I’m thinking he should branch out into tandoori cookery. At the very least it would be an eye-opening experience. Of course that does leave open the possibility of sari drag coming into the picture.
licensed to kill time
Well, that teabagging mind of zeal just worked so zealously on that post, I give it an “E” for effort.

The Modern Left. Note the forty degree horizontal glance. Zero degrees of Zenith. For some reason these angles never change, although the horizontal toggles back and forth.
Brick Oven Bill
The modern Left is very arrogant. This is again rooted in shelter from criticism:
“Phil and I are likely to have to respond to more crap criticisms from the idiots in the near future.”
The creepiest thing to me about those emails is this exclamation point:
“I can’t see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin and I will keep them out somehow — even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!”
Let us now compare the Warmists with the Catholic Church-1500s. Galileo died under house arrest. Giordano Bruno was the only one physically executed.
They bound him to a stake and then lit a fire underneath his feet. His flesh burned and he probably went into shock before the flames consumed his brain.
Before his brain burned, the Catholic Church found Bruno guilty of the following:
1. Holding opinions contrary to the Catholic Faith and speaking against it and its ministers.
2. Holding erroneous opinions about the Trinity, about Christ’s divinity and Incarnation.
3. Holding erroneous opinions about Christ.
4. Holding erroneous opinions about Transubstantiation and Mass.
5. Claiming the existence of a plurality of worlds and their eternity.
6. Believing in metempsychosis and in the transmigration of the human soul into brutes.
7. Dealing in magics and divination.
8. Denying the Virginity of Mary.

@Brick Oven Bill: ¿que?
scbarr
Seriously, enough with the photoblogging, OK?
Yutsano
@scbarr: Just out of curiosity, can I ask the nature of your objection to the photoblogging?

That second photo reminds me of the cover of Genesis’ “Wind And Withering” album.
