Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I’m more christian than these people and i’m an atheist.

Tick tock motherfuckers!

The real work of an opposition party is to hold the people in power accountable.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Hell hath no fury like a farmer bankrupted.

Republicans in disarray!

Democracy is not a spectator sport.

She burned that motherfucker down, and I am so here for it. Thank you, Caroline Kennedy.

President Musk and Trump are both poorly raised, coddled 8 year old boys.

Imperialist aggressors must be defeated, or the whole world loses.

We will not go quietly into the night; we will not vanish without a fight.

Whoever he was, that guy was nuts.

Their freedom requires your slavery.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

The current Supreme Court is a dangerous, rogue court.

White supremacy is terrorism.

The press swings at every pitch, we don’t have to.

Disappointing to see gov. newsom with his finger to the wind.

There is no right way to do the wrong thing.

They love authoritarianism, but only when they get to be the authoritarians.

It’s pointless to bring up problems that can only be solved with a time machine.

Hmm…this has the potential to turn into another YouTube war between me and LilBrit again. Not that the last one wasn’t fun and all…

HEY WAITAMINUTE!! We’re DFHs! We’re not supposed to be supporting the troops! We’re supposed to be spitting on them and screaming baby killer in their face!

P.S. This may cause revocation of my ghey card, but I don’t like Lady Gaga all that much. I think her music is overproduced and not all that creative. Seen a couple of interviews with her though she’s a great lady.

Good God, I’m embarrassed to admit this is the best I could find on YouTube to uphold the pride of the USN.

    Navy Numa Numa.

I’m going to make my husband upload some of his vids from his last deployment, he’s got some much funnier stuff. The best one he has is his Lobsterback ceremony, but I’m doubtful he’ll be too willing to put video of himself dressed in women’s clothing out on the intertubes.

Disgusting paid Republican propagandist and now concern troll Frank Luntz — always a wonderful guest for liberals to have on their shows! He’s so nice! — is concerned:

Why the Dodd Financial Services Bill Is Bad… For Democrats
    …
by Frank Luntz | Pollster and communications speshullist | Huffington Post | April 28, 2010 08:14 PM
    …
Look, those who are on the side of significant financial reform are fighting on the side of the angels — and with broad public support. We are fed up with Wall Street abuses and arrogance that makes life for the rest of us on Main Street more difficult. Let’s hold people and businesses more accountable and responsible for what they do and how they do it.
    …
But that doesn’t suddenly equate to support for the legislation now being considered by the Senate. In exactly the same way that the public wanted healthcare reform, just not Obama’s healthcare reform, they want something done to punish the perpetrators of the financial meltdown, but not at the expense of their own checking accounts — or American economic freedom.
    …
The dirty secret of the Senate financial reform bill is that some of its biggest supporters work on Wall Street. Recipients of taxpayer bailout money have no concerns about the bill — in fact, the CEOs of Citi and Goldman Sachs have publicly endorsed it, and several of the other big banks have expressed support. It keeps the “too big to fail” guarantees in place for another generation of financial services companies.
    …
…The American people are once again hearing the same old song of more taxation, more regulation and more litigation, all because of well intentioned (you read that correctly) but poorly executed legislation. They will reject this approach just as they came to reject the healthcare reform legislation — even after the vote.
    …
Democrats — especially those in conservative districts — were promised a bounce if they voted for ObamaCare. We didn’t even see a dead cat bounce. Just ask Blanche Lincoln — but you better ask her quickly.
    …
…Purple and red state Democrats will spend their summers back home explaining their votes to angry voters upset about the never-ending growth of government spending — and the taxes and fees to pay for it.

Luntz is always right, and Democrats should all drop their awful “Obamacare” and ‘Financial Regulation’ shams, cut the taxes (tax cuts notwithstanding, tax raises being imaginary), and remember that Frank Luntz is dedicated to working for you, Democrats, and also for the average, concerned workin’ Amurkan.

    @Yutsano:
Just the other week I opened facebook for the first time in about a year and there was a friend request from the Sergeant Major (sister-in-law) who had been posted in Iraq. A posting she asked for by the way. It said that she had been home since March and I thought as I had talked to my brother around January I thought it odd that he didn’t mention she was coming home. She still had her old cell phone so I called her and we got to talking. She was visiting a friend in Arizona which I thought was weird until she told me that her and my brother were getting divorced. I aked her how a mutual friend of ours was doing and she said “I don’t know” She had come home a couple of months back on emergency leave when her father had a medical crisis and when she called her friend she was told “I can’t cope with this right now – I’ve got too much going on in my own life, hope you understand. buh-bye. This from a freind she’s known since they went to LDS Kindergarten together. (they live in SLC) It’s the end of her deployment now so the Sergeant Major is cruising around in her PT Cruiser visiting old friends from days gone by (25 years between reserve and regular duty) planning on what she wants to do in this brave new post deployment world. She’s one of the lucky ones that didn’t come back to Dover in a flag draped coffin, only to have some shithead southern baptists from Kansas protesting at her funeral that Amerika is being punished by God for not putting all the gays in FEMA camps. Fred Phelps you’re more a friend of the devil than a servant of God. At least she doesn’t have to go through countless hours of physical therapy to learn how to use a new prosthetic arm or leg. So Kutsano, who are we spitting on now – I’d just like to know so I can give you a hand. I know I know You weren’t serious – or at least I hope you weren’t. Blessing of BOB be upon you – this message brought to you by http://www.subgenius.com

I’d like to state for the record that, for the first and likely last time, Mr. Justice Scalia and I may be in agreement on something. Seems that the case in which the anti-gay bigots who signed the petition against gay marriage in WA who don’t want their names disclosed is the last case the SCOTUS is hearing this session. And Scalia’s questioning may indicate that he believes that democracy isn’t for pussies who don’t want their bigotry to be public. Full disclosure, bitchez!

Great. A video that requires me to friend someone on Youtube I don’t know. No thanks.

Republicans are tying themselves in knots over the new AZ anti-immigration bill. Rep. Connie Mack (R-FL):

“This law of ‘frontier justice’ – where law enforcement officials are required to stop anyone based on ‘reasonable suspicion’ that they may be in the country illegally – is reminiscent of a time during World War II when the Gestapo in Germany stopped people on the street and asked for their papers without probable cause,” Mack said in a statement.

There is some IDIOT woman on MSNBC (Savannah Guthrie maybe? Not sure) who is trying her best to get T. Boone Pickens to say that the oil spill in the Gulf is excellent news for him. I suppose she’s trying to suggest that an environmental catastrophe would make the country turn to alternative energy sources which would make Boone even richer. He refused to fall for her cheap tricks.
