    I pay no attention to football, never really have. But my hubby feels he should watch the Steelers in support of JC even tho he can’t really root for them lol.
    So he turns the game on and I see a bunch of grown men wearing Yellow and Black Striped “Where’s Waldo” outfits.

    Why wear a uniform that looks so ugly, and makes the team (and, by extension its fans) look so silly, worthy objects of ridicule? Once, I can understand. Marketing, and all that jazz. But to wear it twice in a season? WTF?

    @JPL: It was the start of the second when we pulled into town. I went and got some frozen shrimp and hit the beach. Caught a really nice pompano in about 39 minutes! The doggies enjoyed the sunset and then we baked that sucker up.

    Just came in. I see the Steelers are wearing their Killer Bee/prison chain gang uniforms. I guess the Ravens can’t go retro, because then they would be the Cleveland Browns. Confusing.

    Looks like a good game, though. I will observe.

    The San Diego Union Tribune is one shitty newspaper, but I do enjoy reading their sports columnists after a Chargers loss, especially one to the Broncos. I know I won’t be disappointed tonight.

    Leftwich will be critical to whether the Steelers win. I’m a Pittsburgh native but am dubious whether they can beat the Ravens. I think they can but they will need to be awesome on defense and creative on offense. We’ll see.

    I’m a Corvophile, not a Steelerphobe–it just happens yinz are always standing between Poe’s Crows & the postseason.

    If all 3 of your QBs are hurt, you could always sign Dennis Dixon off the Ravens practice squad. Last time he was in a Tar&Piss uniform he came pretty close to winning a game in Baltimore.
